    AFAIK, all BlackBerrys are about the same in terms of usability. Meaning they all probably fetch e-mail really fast. As for the other stuff, the 9780 is better in about every way. Better battery, higher resolution display, better camera, etc. And the 8530 is a CDMA phone...how did you plan on using it..?
