Since people are signing up in the other post game thread anyway, there might as well be an official sign up thread. The game itself probably won't start until the middle of next week though. 1. strat1227 2. Ricercar 3. A.Sate 4. Night Fury 5. Biji 6. minche 7. tacohead12 8. Knightpal 9. Prince 10. shoeman6 11. Lepton 12. Chili Pepper 13. TheAafg 14. peninja Rules: 1- Every player has been assigned a role. You are NOT allowed to post your role. 2- The game rounds will cycle between day (Lasting 48 hours) and night (Lasting 24 hours) and will continue until one faction is declared the winner. Days and nights may be extended in the case that neither hoiboy or myself have the opportunity to update the game. 3- The game will begin on Night 0. Anyone may act on night 0, assuming they have an actions. The game will proceed to day 1 and lynching will begin. 4- All votes must be bolded. If you wish to remove a vote, unbold your previous vote. In the event that a vote ends in a tie, there will be no lynch for that day. If someone has two votes bolded, I will count the first vote. 5- The option of "no-lynch" will be an acceptable form of voting during the day period and will result in no lynch that day period. It counts as a player, in that if it gets majority, or it is the option with the highest vote count by the end of the day, it happens. 6- [B][SIZE="3"]PLEASE EDIT. I don't want the game spammed by hundreds of consecutive posts by one person, and in order to unvote, UNBOLD YOUR OLD VOTE AND BOLD YOUR NEW ONE. DO NOT POST "Unvote: XXX player", I WILL NOT COUNT IT.[/SIZE][/B] 7- Players may not communicate with each other privately about the game, unless otherwise stated. If you are dead, you are not allowed to post in the gameplay thread, post in the discussion thread. 8- Character/player alignment and priority will be kept secret until a player is killed, where their role and alignment will be revealed. 9- At the end of the day the player with the most votes will be lynched. In the event of a tie nobody will be lynched. If nobody votes a random player will be godkilled. The day will end prematurely in the event of a majority. And edits after the day ends will be subject to godkill. And votes after the day ends will be subject to godkill. Don't try me. 10- If you have any questions about your role, or about the game, or have any comments/concerns, you may PM hoiboy or myself. 11- Do not take screenshots of stuff in the game. I consider this to be the most important rule. 12- If anyone breaks any of these rules, that person will be killed by me. 13- I might add more rules to the game, and you must follow them if I do. This is for balancing. Please copy and paste the current list then add your entry instead of just typing /in, it makes the player list much easier. Also, having at least 14 players will be very helpful.

How is it at all difficult for you to understand your role? Yours was probably one of the simplest. I also stated MANY times that this game is complicated, I was considering not hosting it here since I thought you might not be able to handle it. I was wrong, save for a few exceptions. Most people are handling this quite well. -

Ricer... cut it out... You signed up for a game under Holypie's moderation... If you were looking for a simple mafia game, there are multiple scheduled. Holypie could've put any insane rule, you could have opted in exchange for a replacement. If you had questions a bout your role you should have communicated with the moderator of the game. Honestly, while this game is a bit confusing, and Holypie has a different moderation style than say Hoiboy, It's still fun. I've never heard of demanding a vote count from the moderator... I find it useful to keep track of it myself... This game is a bit different than a normal mafia game as far as rules... but it only makes it more interesting, read up, ask questions and play. @Holypie, maybe you could keep things a bit more organized and commit to moderating the game... I personally don't have a problem with your style, it's a bit more relaxed, but it adds another layer of complexity to unveil, which I enjoy, and I feel like it makes the game more balanced, as the mafia aren't omnicent and simply picking off townies...

The game is rather confusing but thats why it is not a newbie mafia game. It's for people who know how to play. On the other I do agree that the moderating could be a little more active/cooperative. I believe it is the moderator's duty to provide a vote count every once in a while.

I would suggest instead of editing posts, you just double post. I think that is far more easier. But unbolding the vote to unvote could actually help speed along your tallying I guess.

hehe, so even racercar's role is from Doctor Who, thats what happened in the series :D and about votes you can just do almost the same as before, instead of saying unvote you find your previous vote and unbold it, and you post your new vote but I guess it could be kind of interesting, someone could change their vote 'silently' and you should keep the day at 48 hours, because even with 48 hours it was only 5 people discussing, and others just came to voote and post their opinion

good game everyone :) i tweaked a little bit of the truth, i could die at night but i didn't want mafia to know that :P i just had 11 (holy shit so many) immunities, so unless we made it to day 12 i was invincible haha plus i could change who got lynched from the leading vote-getter to the 2nd-most (that's why @shoeman6 disappeared, I changed it) fun stuff, now go sign up for the new one!!!

You couldn't die at night. You had 11 immunities to any negative actions. So after the first 11 actions failed you would be affected by the 12th. Then if you died Amy would revive you. (The conspiracy is that there was no mafia!)

They're hidden conditions that would come in to play under the right circumstances. For example one role targeting another role would have some unexpected consequence.
