IMO, this was a pretty fail game. First off, the townies weren't working together. KK was trolling and trying to get himself killed, and then there was a "no lynch" vote on two days. Secondly, shoeman6 pretty much gave himself away as mafia, yet no one picked up on it. He was giving out tons of reasoning, distorted in a reverse-reverse-reverse etc. psychology sort of away, which should point to him as mafia. Lastly, the game was plagued by inactivity and bans. I had to replace two people, and we went days without posts.

I might be overcritical here, but TheAafg sort of made a mistake on the last day. He wasn't mafia, so he shouldn't have voted first, considering a mis-accusation would have led to the mafia bandwagoning for an auto-lynch, thus winning the game.

I can try and host that complicated game but well... It's confusing (but can be REALLY fun if people understand). Hopefully there won't be as much ambiguity as last game that I tried to host x_x.

The game was pretty bad, I think the game headed downhill after KK's incident and hit rock bottom during day 3. Still good job mafia, and next time I think we should get a bigger game (~12 people) to get more discussion going and an overall more intense game.

A larger game would be good, but I REALLY think we should shorten the days/nights. It doesn't take 3 days for people to come up with a decision, and it doesn't take 2 days for people to get on UPSB and type 1 line of text to indicate what night action they use. Also the thing about not lynching if it's not a majority, in larger games (12+ like A.Sate suggested) it's VERY hard to get a majority when many people are inactive. I think the person with the highest number of votes at the end of the day should be the lynch target. But that's just what I think and how I host, I suppose it's up to personal preference on the part of the host with these kinds of things.

2 hosts, nice idea. I think 2 days for townies and 1 day for night. Night actions only require a few lines to discuss, and townies can only drag on their arguement for so long. And yes, a majority vote will be more efficient than 51% for a large group. Id be willing to joing the next game, @Holypie when do your exams end?

I think it would be interesting to have a board wide mafia game modified rules ofc, pm's allowed, posts in every thread could subject players to suspicion, there might be like a couple threads which pertained to general discusion, and it'd have to be more thought out but I think it would be kind of fun ;P

That would be intense, but its just not likely. Not many active posters and it would be easy to miss a suspicious conversation. Mafia would have fun toying with townies through pm's though :p
