Hey guys, though you might want to know about a cheep Dr. Grip grip sub. Its 1/2 inch clear vinyl tubing that u can get from a hardware store for about 5 dollars for 10 feet. It is a bit slippier than a Dr. Grip but u will get used to it. Its also harder to stretch onto mods such as a vicgotgame mod, but you will be able to do it This is some of the tubing on my pens, (a old dr. grip at the top) and thats about 9 and a half feet of tubing. This is a closer look at my minwoo mod, as you can see it is very crisp and clear The grip is the same width as the dr grip And the label that came with it Any way, hope u guys can save some money with this sub :) Bubbles

zomg I JUST thought of this... nice. I bought it in different sizes though, and the RSVP caps are too big for the smaller size and too small for the bigger size, hard as fuck to get them on for a vic stic.

O-o I wanna try this. I'm not sure how effective it would be but it's so cheap who cares xD. I'll go pick some up soon cuz I ran out of teflon tape anyway.

Does it feel tight / hard? Very interesting sub, but i'm a bit worried that the texture may be a bit off setting. (compared to the soft cumfiness of the dr.grip grip)

To be honest Shoeman, it is very different to a Dr. Grip, and is more for a cheep sub than for Great spinning, you can still spin with it but it is hard

@JLSpinY the outer diameter is 1/2 inner is 3/8 these are all common trade sizes.

I see. So you could use watercooling tubing for the same effect?

I guess it's a pretty good sub. You could also use the cheap American Dr.Grip.

You can easily get a transparent tube at a hardware store. Works and looks the same and it wont fog up over time.

yea, airfits is a gd sub for dr grip grips

  36. chris
    Date: Thu, Jun 9 2011 12:57:36

no, Airfits are much heavier and "bulkier", plus, it doesn't have smooth surface as that of Dr Grips.
