I used hi-tec tips because I like lighter mods. I put the signo dx grip on comssa caps so easy (I think you can use vaseline to help). And, yes, is hi-tec tip, the dr. grip grip holds the tip. (sorry for the bad english =S )

Simple variation of a simple mod. Not amazing :L

yes my friend@Twine not amazing but godly... it combines the beauty of the comssa and the signo dx grip. not too heavy but not too light. beautiful colors available and actually looks good when spun. easy to make and durable. Cheap yet spinnable. it might not be a new mod but there is something new about it when you spin it...

Lol worded very nicely but I mean almost EVERY mod variation is going to spin differently. Obviously due to weight differences and even psychologically as some people just have a tendency to like to spin certain mods and that affects their performance with them. So I don't know if that makes a strong argument. And furthermore "looks good when spun" wouldn't be very valid either since everyone sees mods differently. So yeah lol. Tbh I don't really like the dots on the dx grips and they are basically amplified by the dr grip grips over them. So they really pop out at you.

Im sure the dots wouldnt pop out as much if the DX grip was red or something.

What do you mean by that? I thought the dots pop out more when you have darker colors. I mean visually. Because it is harder to distinguish the holes from the rest of the grip. I'm just saying the dr grip grips make the holes way more visible

Im saying by using brighter colors, you could lessen the dot's "popping out" effect. But yeah, the dr. grip does make the dots more visible.

@Shadowbane Make the same mod but with signo tips and a comssa body. Now you have basically the same mod and about $6 cheaper. That's what I've been spinning for like 9 months as a main pen, the thing is I didn't make a tut because it is obvious as hell how to make it and it's clear a variation of stuhl mod.

@Jan: maybe he want a lighter mod. but if i were you i'll use signo tip instead to reduce cost dude
