Kirby the easiest way is relocate the bar to the far left side of the screen, then tell it to autohide then get a laucher like rocketdock or rainmeter or something

kirby, if you want the start menu icon in the corner gone, http://www.tordex.com/startkiller/ and if you want the whole taskbar gone (which I wouldnt recommend if you have windows 7, it's pretty useful) but want a dock, you should go with object dock because I'm pretty sure it can remove the taskbar for you.

I'm sorry, but are you really that retarded? It's so fucking simple. Go to your Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) Go to the Processes tab, then find "explorer.exe" then click on it, then at the bottom, click on "End Process" If you don't get it now. I officially say you're a dumbass. -

I did it, and it got rid of it, but then I had no icons or bar. And couldn't open or click anything, So I turned my comp off then back on and it was back to normal. So I guess having bar is better then not being able to click anything.

No shit, you closed windows explorer. If you really don't like it, either change the theme or right click on it > uncheck "Lock the Taskbar" and drag it downward. Most of it should be hidden now.

The game of life is a board game. S4 is a face pace third person shooter. Heroes of the three kingdom is a new mmorpg, it's an aight game. League of legends is my favorite game. similiar to dota and hon. The sims 3, well it's a virtual world.

Sup guys. This is a work in progress. However, I am stuck. I don't know what else to add. And whenever I move the mouse to the left edge of the screen, my taskbar comes up, and I don't want it to. How do I fix this? Also, theme recommendations would be nice, and Wallpapers too.

That Keystroke Search Program that zumbo recommended sucks ass. It could only find the programs that I installed before it and would sometimes open the program folder of the same name. It Google searched most of what I typed in there. Plus, there's no point in it indexing locations if it can't even search for files. I don't know why ptz uses it.

The contrast of green and purple doesnt really go. And then the dock doesnt fit in with the theme. People here dont like icons either. Less is more.

Yeah, I was thinking of sorting out the icons as they do look pretty butterz. But I'm getting a new build soon so I can't really be bothered X). And the dock hasn't ever been changed hence it being so weird. The fences are purple because Purple is awesome :p

IMPO, sidebars look good when you have the default Windows taskbar disabled/removed, or if it looks good with it, which in this case, it does not. I would get rid of the sidebars and keep your feeds and stuff by themselves, unless of course it's all in one big package. If you really need to see all your computer stats, at least put it in the top right hand corner and make it all neat looking. Get rid of the dock, it looks out of place. Also, hide your notifications in your taskbar if you're not oging to hide it, it looks better that way. Find a better music thing too. I know I'm being very critical here, but it's just because I'm very picky when it comes to desktop customization. The fewer things on your desktop, the better. This is of course, all personal opinion so meh -

This is XP. No Blue taskbar. You can change it.
I also don't see how you need to see that information all the time.
Something like CPU speed, and RAM usage is understandable, but all that other shit is pretty much useless.

He just replaced the normal Start Orb with a transparent picture file so that it disappeared. As you can see, I did the same thing. But mine is not transparent. -

sorry man :P If you ever want to, I use Crunchbang - it comes with a program called tint2 (you can install standalone) which you can use to edit the taskbar to your liking. -
