Only one pic, this is more than a year old. 1990 Acura Integra RS, stuck a bucket seat in there and threw on a muffler and exhaust tips. Fun to drive, don't wanna let it go for a while. Gonna drop a standard transmission in there later. Once I get my transmission in I'm gonna do some minor upgrades to it, like intake and small stuff like that. Love her. =D -

lol thanks scott =D and tbh, i dont know how much HP. not much at all, i got it with a blown engine and my dad threw in a japanese one, i would doubt its more than 150. but its a light car, so its fun to drive. ill take more pics of it later, just that i gotta clean it a lotttt, it's gone a few months without one and the snow isnt helping.

I know nothing about cars, and you guys seem to know what you're doing. And $6.5k isn't bad for a car that's had all it's parts replaced, and I really like what the guy has done with the interior. I like Integra's, and I know I can probably get one for $2k, but I don't like how the stock parts look, so I would end up replacing everything anyways, so I would probably end up spending more than the price of that car anyways.

If you wanna buy a shittyass riced out integra, be my guest. two thousand for the car, 500 for paint job. 400 for a PAIR of seats (unless youre getting actual Recardo /Integra Type R seats, which are like 1000 a pair) 1000 for a shitty body kit. and 200 for a QUALITY steering wheel. all in all, youre spening only an additional 2 grand. you do NOT need fucking 4k for the paint job nor body kit. Also, what about cold air intake? Looks like a bitch to install. And I read that it costs like $1000 to get the engine replaced, and no I'm not going to risk doing it myself. So like thats another 1850 for the engine and installation. Recap: 3000 Car 410 Body kit 202 Steering Wheel 320 Seats 117 Lights 95 Pedals 48 Guage 10 Knobs 1850 Engine 50ish Cold Air Intake Oh and paint job? 1600 I'm guessing? That adds up to 7702. Seems a lot cheaper to just buy that one.

The Integra looks like just another 90s car, especially in an unflattering white or silver. New front bumper whatever it's called, if you dont mind the scratched up fender, replace that too, and tint the windows if you can. Thats it. Lower if it you really wanna. And replace the motor mounts, and since it has a fuckload of miles on it, replace the engine too. If it were me, i would replace the interior, brown just doesnt fit for me. black would make it look better, imo. I'd also definitely have a conversion done to the front end, with like 91 teg front end or type r front end. if thats even possible, i dont even know, correct me if you cant. i'd lower it, throw on some new wheels, and tint tthe windows. and i'd drop a 5 speed tranny into it. but youre not me, and i want a 91 GSR or a japanese type r, so yeah. i dont know what the hell i just said.

However..if you get a right hand side drive Integra, that's a legit JDM :p Remember that white Integra I showed you a while back? Thats a USDM integra with a JDM front end. Most "JDM" cars now are just USDM cars filled with a bunch of imported shit. Not really worth investing in; might as well import a car from Japan, fill out all the papers and shit, and have yourself a legit JDM car. Just saying :dunno:

Integras ARE from the 90's (except for DC5). If you really want a rice car, look for an old civic coupe. That way you wont mess with the teggy's rep as a nice car. Most ricers drive civics sadly, so it wouldnt matter.

Just a note: this is my first car, thats why its auto. I just wanted to make it look decent, just not stock. And my dad had some parts lying around, so thats why I got exhaust, a wing, and tint on it. He also had a pair of seats laying around, so I stuck one in the driver side. Nobody else seems to like sitting in it =\ So other than the new engine and paint, everything on this car was basically free. Once I buy a standard car, my dad is gonna teach me to drive stick, but until then, this is what I'm using. And her name is Eva :P

LOLOLOL. The spoiler is screwed onto the trunk, but overlaps onto the body of the car. In no way does the spoiler ever come into contact with the body. -

if i sold my cars, i'd probably get $6000 for both. but thats not the point. you said that i think that the wingless MR2 looks nice. just cuz it doesnt cost more than your house doesnt mean it cant look nice. there are common cars out there that look amazing. take this civic si for example. bone stock. there are tons of them running around, but i still think it looks amazing. and you can get a decent used one here for about $4k - $7k. lower it, slap a couple of minor engine mods into it, and its a beauty.
you dont need a fancy ass $200 000 car if you want a car that looks nice, its actually very impractical. so you show off, who gives a dick? you crash it, its gone. you crash a civic, you can get a replacement in a week.

Is it just me or are Honda owners super fucking anal about even the least aesthetic modification being put on a car? After browsing the Silvia forums for a while, I haven't noticed anyone rage'd on for having a body kit. (Though Silvias arguably look better with body kits than Integras)

Don't transmission and drivetrain conversions take forever? I also read FWD -> RWD conversion takes so long/costs so much that it's not even worth it... But it's probably subjective to the car, I guess. -

Youre comparing a Silvia to an Integra..dude..two completely different genres. Its like a fucking Potage mod vs Buster. The reason no one raging on people with body kits is cause theyre LEGIT body kits. Theyre not slapping on eGay brand body kits, they only got the legit VERTEX or shit like that. Not that many companies make body kits for Silvias; shit, not that many people HAVE a Silvia. As for Integras, (civics, CRX's, that good stuff), you throw a body kit and its automatically rice. Its best to keep it simple. Your Integra will never match up to a Silvia. -

@Colin Is Silvia interchangeable with 240SX in this case? Because I see a pretty good amount of Silvias on the street, though obviously not as many as Integras. And IMO it seems like a double standard. But if someone puts a LEGIT body kit that fits nicely and is painted to match on a Honda, is it rice?

We dont have Silvias here in the US. Only 240SX. S13, S14, 180SX, RPS13, we aint got non these here. Depends what year the car is. Go do some research. Silvias are more expensive to convert, and are much better because of the power-output. Unless theyre from Honda (or Mugen, part of Honda), there aint no legit. Honda has offered optional parts (Honda Optional Parts) for the car. Be it a first-aid kit in the trunk, and be it a lip for the car. Honda does not offer body kits, but lips and side skirts. -

Body kits and wings and fins and shit belong on a track car. Small mods like lips and springs and lights belong on everyday drivers. In terms of engine mods, I've seen everything from a little cold air intake, to swapping a Type R engine and tranny into a normal teg for the ultimate sleeper. Engine mods are limitless for both. My opinion.
