IF YOU CAME HERE TO SAY "SAW" - GET THE FUCK OUT I am looking for good horror movies and by that I mean movies that are actually scary. Not brutal, not gory but scary. Haven't seen anything like that in years because all horror movies tend to be rather bland in story and/or focus too much on blood instead of suspense, thrill and fear. Shoot!

The Ring , Grudge series, the last exorcism, paranormal activity 1 and 2 (not really scary to me) , and my favorite horror movie of all time, The Exorcist (you probably have seen most of these , if you like horror movies)

+1 Vassenato And hell no, The Ring and grudge are bullshit, far from scary. Also I would recommend watching some of D.Lynch movies (but only if you like mindfucking and complex, twisted plots), because they often have pretty intense atmosphere throughout.

i like the classics not the slasher movies of todays time like House on Haunted Hill and the first dawn of the dead 1963 film not the cruddy remake. Oh and of course the exorcist because its the greatest scary movie of all time

Dont watched hyped up scary movies (paranormal activities, saw, grudge). Try looking up some horror movies from Asia, I hear those are way scarier than American horrors.

lol the fuck are you talking? Human centipede is one of the shittiest movies I've ever seen. It has nothing to it what trailer doesn't. Only the main idea is terrifying, but you get the same after watching the trailer. And then the movie itself is a crock of shit full of cliche after cliche.
