I asked a bit on shout box, but anyone play. More specifically, anyone learn from the internet? Any good sites recommendations? Any tips for playing overall? And easy famous hit songs that sound good on the Uke? Thanks!

Damn, that's expensive. I was expecting to get one for like, 15 bucks.

The cheapest I can find is $25. What do I look for when I'm buying an Ukulele? I'm a beginner, so I don't really know if it sounds good or not. And I don't know how to properly hold it, so I don't know if it feels comfortable. There are three cheap similar sopranos, 25 30 35 which seem like the same (don't take me word, i'm a noob). They all come with case.

Since most of them are painted over with, it's hard to tell if it's wood or plastic. Anyone way? The 25 one is http://www.long-mcquade.com/products/302/Guitars/Traditional_Folk_Instruments/Denver/Ukulele_Brown.htm The 35 one is http://www.teamintlco.com/Mahalo/ProductsShow.asp?ProductType_ID=3&ProductSubType_ID=115&ProductSub2Type_ID=145&Product_ID=912 And the 30 one is http://www.beavercreekguitars.com/bcuke.html Their both poorly painted. But when I look inside the whole, it appears to be wood. Which one should I get?

I dont have any experience with the denver uke or the beaver creek, but i do know that mahalos tend to be pretty cheap and dont have the best intonation. If I were yuo, id save up a couple more bucks and buy the soprano Kala i posted a link too. But if you wanted you could buy the mahalo or the beaver creek(according to online reviews theyre about hte same quality) and see how you liked it, then maybe buy a better uke later on

I've played all of them, but I have no idea how to "try them out"

Yup, I just started at the start of this month! I can play bass, I started then quit guitar, so the Ukulele wasn't too difficult to start - even though I broke every string when I first got it because I tried to play it like a bass... BTW: I use http://www.ukulele-tabs.com/ and have learnt like 20 songs by memory already, it's pretty awesome!

My uke's frets don't seem to play very intune even though the strings are themselves intune..
