There is a red thing at the bottom of those cups. Putting the cups on that machine opens the red things which allows beer to flow in. Its pretty obvious, noob

saw it on RWJ? anyway, this is my theory, not sure how correct it is but aat the bottom of the cup, there is airlock-like device, if you push up on it, it'll rise up and allow air/liquid through, but once beer is poured into it and the nozzle is detached, the weight of the liquid keeps the tab pushed down?

theres some opening at the bottom, when pushed upward allows the beer to flow through. when released, the pressure of the beer shuts the valve. its the same principle as inflatable beds or dolls (lolz) or tires
