saying "I only spin x months with my left hand" doesn't count, you still have the advantage of further pen spinning knowledge and more advanced (or at least non-spammy) linkage. Imo you should just limit it to these 4 months, no exceptions like left hand using. Also tournament for beginners has already been done before and as I remember pretty many people would not send their videos in, so good luck with organizing.

Ease may get bonus difficulty points for using a Dr. Grip in his combo since that's a more difficult thing to spin with than say, a buster. But look, if Ease and Peem did the same exact combo, but Ease did it with a Dr. Grip and Peem did it with a Buster.... then Ease would win because his pen would give him extra difficulty points in my eyes. But we know that wouldn't realistically happen since the difficulty of the tricks that can be done with a buster are generally much higher than the tricks done with a dr. grip. But if Ease and one of you guys did the same exacttt combo and he used a Dr. Grip and you used a Buster, then he would win... and in that case, it would be a more realistic situation than comparing him to Peem with a buster I suppose. But at this tournament level, I don't think anyone can spin a Dr. Grip as well as Ease. -------------------------------------- The pen mod comes into play in those two examples of 2 identical combos, but is only realistic in the 2nd since Ease would not be able to do a Peem level combo with a Dr. Grip whereas he may be able to do one of yours, being that he is a pro (... >.>). With that said, there's a huge difference in skill between Ease and you guys, but since everyone here is 4 months and below, you shouldn't worry about that too much. Everyone here will have similar skill levels and will most likely use similarly heavy pens anywayy. Nowadays, there are so many ways to hide tips into pens so we wouldn't be able to tell if someone spinning a "light mod" is actually spinning a heavy mod or not anywayys. ------------------------- All in all, don't worry about the mod you spin so much!! Just spin whatever's comfortablee.

Yes, you may, you may spin anything you want... but I suggest you spin whatever your'e most comfortable with because that is what you will spin the best with. If a regular RSVP is that comfortable for you, then go for it. Will you get more difficulty points if you spin a rsvp vs someone who uses a buster? Perhaps a little bit, but we're here to judge the combo, not really the mod. Someone who spins a buster will most likely be able to produce a better combo than you unless you are super pro lol... so just remember, we look at the combo first!! ...and then the mod used may perhaps be looked at as a tiebreaking factor... (but you may have difficulty creating a combo as good as one that someone made with a buster if you're just using a regular rsvp, it's up to you though) -

Also, noobs tend to be rather volatile, with some only staying for a couple months before dropping out. This results in holes in the tournament structure.

well, this is a fairly well sized/small tournament, problem is the due date for the videos. the due date for this one is giving a LOT of time, which means obviously, procrastination, and no offense, but that probably also means that someone is gonna get booted for not being on time.
