Now before we get started, obviously this isn't exactly a Christmas event, considering it's already Christmas Eve/Day. But we had lots of requests to hold a Secret Santa event, and there was discussion amongst the staff members as to how this event should be held and run. Due to problems with members not sending gifts in the past, a decision was made to try and fix this problem. The idea now is essentially to sign up if you're interested, however your participation depends entirely on whether the staff members believe you are a trustworthy enough member or not. Pretty much, you can sign up, but if you're relatively new/don't have much rep on the board, you could be rejected. Don't cry about it, don't whine on here or to us about this being unfair, you can thank those who ruined it for everyone. We would rather have fewer participants who enjoyed the event, than a bunch of people upset because they got screwed over by some idiots. Stuff:
- Post in this thread if you're interested under the following format:

- Approximately 20USD value for your gift pre-shipping. However, nothing is stopping you from putting in more stuff if you want to.
- A Secret Santa account will be set up where you can anonymously message your Tiny Tim and "taunt" or question them for whatever reasons you want.
- Sign-ups will start January 10th, and will close on the 16th. This later sign-up date is to allow for members who want to participate but are on vacation right now to get a chance to sign up. A PM will be sent out to the participating members for a confirmation reply that includes their address. If you do not reply to that PM, you're out.
- Don't complain if you're not selected. The staff's decision is final, and should just be incentive to be a more "contributing" and trustworthy member of this forum if you want to participate in the next event.
- Further dates will be posted when this is finalized.

I thought this is for discussion I have some questions.. 1- so it's just a trading with b? Or it's like one big group? 2- how do we determine the value of pens? I might can get dead cheap airfits and consider them at penwish price... Or what if I just want to gift massive amount of parts?? 3- when is the trade gonna happen? I know about the sign up but I want at least the approximate date as mid Jan is when I move back to syd. Thanks, PrinceXD

1. We randomize who you will be giving your gift to, and also who will be giving you a gift. Potentially you could get each other as a partner, but depending on how many people participate, this is kinda unlikely. 2. You can decide that for yourself. There will be a single secret account that participants can use to anonymously sign onto and message their partners with, for hints on what types of gifts and whatever else you want to tell them. 3. Sign-ups start tomorrow, and end next week (16th). You'll be given a few weeks to shop for and think about gifts, and a deadline will be created for when you must have shipped your gift. Keep checking back in this thread for updates (will be edited into the OP). If you need an approximate, I'd say the due date for shipping would probably be around earl to mid-February, but dates are subject to change. -

Yeah guys, I'm getting it sorted out, some people have not sent me their mailing addresses out yet, and I need to find out if they're still participating or not. I don't want to give out the mailing addresses and then have to reassign partners later on and stuff because I couldn't get a few of the mailing addresses.
