Regular Pen Discussion / Black and white supertips?

    I was making a mod, and I made two, with a black supertip, then another one with a white. Seemingly, unless my fingers tell me wrong, the black one feels smoother and thinner, then when I span the white one, it felt wider and more slippery in my hands. Any of you guys noticed this before? I like the black supertip more, because it feels less slippery and smaller than the white supertip.

    one of them was probably the discontinued kind and the other, the newer ST.....

    I believe the older ones are thinner. The supertip on the Buster I got from penwish had a larger barrel than one I found laying around my school..

    yeah i have both an old black and an old white supertip, the black one has a different, really nice feel. It may depend on whether or not that is the old or new version supertip. the tip is different and the barrel is thinner than the new one.

    Naw, they're both new.. but I'm talking about the black supertips compared to the white supertips.

    I compared them and found out that the black supertip IS thinner. No racism mon. :P

    How much is the difference? I won't think it really matters if its only 1 mm or so.

    they're the same dimensions, any difference you feel is caused by the deviation in the production.

    I took all the black supertips I had, and took however many white supertips equal how many black supertips i had, and found a big difference in my spinning when I spun the two. I don't know, I just feel a difference in the white supertips and black supertips.

    Does anyone notice that the new ST caps are different from the old ones? I hate the new god damn caps!
