creative hq 1700's. If Cobus Potgieter can do awesome songs with them, they must be good. XD I love them personally, good bass.

skullcandy skullcrushers are 50 dollars, have in-line amplifier for higher bass, and it's adjustable essentially it's like having 2 small sub-woofers on your head lol

Skullcrushers feel weird for me. I don't use my pair, I feel like a mini kid because they're too big for me. XD I go with lowriders, they're not the best quality, but for the price they're pretty good headphones.

All I heard so far about Skullcrushers/-candy is that the bass is overkill and they break super easily. Gonna buy the Sony ones tomorrow probably, Sony lists a store nearby so I'm gonna check it out. Haven't had bass in a long time as the gamer in me was screaming for Steelseries headsets and those have almost 0 bass because that distract from important sounds during gaming and whatnot, real pro-gamer shit.

yeah you'll be happy with the sonys,as long as you don't wear them around people or you'll feel stupid haha

Skullcandy... best be trolling. Consult the Head-Fi forums. Sennheiser or Audio-Technica should do fine. (Headphone thread? I own(ed) the Sennheiser HD485, CX-880, CX-300II and Beyerdynamic DT-880. Planning to get the Audio-Technica ATH M50) /EDIT:

wat. I mean - thats what the commercials say but from what I heared the Bass sounds like crap compared to "real" headphones. I must admit, I can't provide first hand information for this headphone, but I once tried the Skullcandy LowRiders (with a Sony Amp I might add) and the sounded very cheap. Essentially, Skullcandy produces overpriced stylish "accessories" for emo-looking girls or skaters but nothing for people who want to enjoy some good rolling jump-up basslines. /EDIT2: Upon further research I found out that the Lowriders have a built-in vibration motor, to give the feeling of a "deeper" bass. Wow, that's ridiculous. In any case, webspider (from GPC) once made a tutorial to improve the skullcandy lowriders. Maybe it's useful to someone... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbQwY_3SvM0

@taichi1082 lol they're 40 bucks, they sound fine to me but i'm no audiophile they don't rattle, they're not fuzzy, and the bass is anywhere from nonexistant (in-line amp off) to overpowering (turned all the way up) for the price if you're not audiophile then they come highly recommended from me

Bought them, sound I got to get used to, bass is good, cable a bit short but I don't think they're made for plugin into a PC.
