Advanced Tricks / Bonkura Isonic--theories? think you know how?

I could not find out, though i have a theory. I would like to know the opinions of other upsb spinners. I think that the when the pen is behind his hand, he uses that to press it to his wrist by pushing the back of his hand towards his wrist so that the pen stays

I think that bonkura positions his hand at 45 degrees (which is pretty hard), and balances the pen between his arm and fingers. so its like a wedge like thing. Or he could've used double sided tape, putting it on his pen or hand. Well, I think it bonkura wouldn't want other people to know how to do it, or else he wouldn't be so famous for the isonic.

Someone already blew how this was done on Youtube. I don't know if the video was up, but it had about 1000+ views when I saw it, so plenty of people must know.

no, there are many different theories/methods. some people pin the pen against a wall or floor etc. , another person i saw slipped it down his sleeve

I have seen so many different ideas vut Bonkura is the king of it all because he moved his hands and later brought it back showing how skillfully he hid it

yup. in all of the other attempted isonic recreation videos, they never moved their hands. Only bonkura did.

that's one way of doing this another is to put the camera on the ground facing up, and then just have the pen rest behind your middle finger and hand. a third is to hold it behind your middle finger using your index and ring fingers. -

@hoiboy yeah you could do it that way, but he wants to know how bonkura did it in his 2nd solo when he had the camera facing the ground, and he had his fingers spread all the way out

3 ways to do this 1. use a flat surface to hold the pen against <-- l0l n00b 2. point the camera upward and use gravity to your advantage <-- medium difficulty 3. hold the pen using your wrist <-- about as easy as autofellatio

I guess ur hand has to be flexible enough so ur wrist can turn back alot, and ur ring finger has to be pretty strong to support the pen between the finger and wrist I can do the original iSonic but when I tried opening my hand I drop lol I got a cramp in my finger for trying too much XP

For the "Wrist-Version", here is a tutorial: Probably bonkura used this method in his 2nd solo, but noone can be 100% sure. I personaly like video, in which he faced his cam upwards, the best, because he did a really incredible combo. He used a ink- and gripless DC Ballsign (!) and did a very fast and very smoth fingerpass palm down (!!). And then he this combo really fast and smooth, too: ISonic 23-12 > Pass Reverse 12-23 > Twisted Sonic 23-12. Watch this video in slow motion if you have the possibility, it is really amazing. greets MM

In his first video when he flourishes his fan, he drops the pen into probably his left thumb and catches it, and then places it back when the fan comes up. In the second, he's obviously bending his hand back at least a little because the veins in his wrist are popping out strangely, meaning he put an awkward sort of force on his fingers and wrist. Hope this helps

We're not talking about the disappearing with the fan trick. It's the one in the second year solo after the part where he uses rope as a whip in the middle of his combo. -
