Ok we have to decide on a mafia schedule that will fit everybody. We can start a "newbie" game next week. 9 players. Open setup. If it's as fast as #6, it will only take a week. If this game happens, I want to pick people who did not get to play in #6 as priority so that more people are "trained". We also want to start a "full game". More players. Hidden setup. Narrated by Eriror. For this we need more time to set up, it will take time to design the backstory, create the roles and balance the powers. This won't be started next week, maybe in 2 weeks at best. But I don't know how available I'll be during holidays. My longest hosted full game lasted 1 month with 20 players. That's what I'm aiming for again. We also need to know how many players we can get for that game. So in this thread, just post whether you're interested in the newbie game or the full game or both, and when are you free to play.

Both games. Free on weekdays from 3pm and on. 3 weeks after today I'll have Winter break then I'll be free everyday :P

Ah beautiful, a full game. I'll watch the newbie game then because I want to learn your behaviours before we start on the big game. Also, I think days and nights should be 24 hours long, 3 days per day is very long and will make the game drag on, after all, this newbie game was 3 game days. Edit: Even better, I'd like to host the game after the newbie game, or after Eriror's game. I already have a game written up and ready to go, role PMs and all. The narration won't be spectacular but I think the roles might be fun.

24 hours long is too short, there is a time zone differences, 24 hours might mean someone doesn't even get to say anything.

I'll gladly watch the newbie game :P It'll be good to get a different perspective on the situation without being biased towards any person. That could be useful for the later full game which I definitely wanna get in on >:D Oh yeah, and Im not free too much right now because of sports, but after the 11th of this month ill be free all day except for school hours.

I'm fairly active, checking UPSB at least once daily, and am interested in both games. Since you want to get as many people interested in this game, I think I'll only play in the newbie game if you really need a spot filled though

@Holypie, if you already a game ready to play, I suggest you start it now. don't worry about the newbie game, we'll just use your game, while me and eriror prepare for the next full game.

a newbie game has a very specific setup and role distribution with a fixed number of players (9) a full game has more players, unique roles, a theme and narration.

Thanks Zombo. Does the full game allow everyone to play who wants to? I've played once before on a different forum so I don't think I really need the "training" lol... Oh yeah, I'm generally free to play any time after 5 pm on weekdays (EST) and any time on the weekend or during Christmas break (i. e. 12/23 - 1/2).

A game we haven't played before would be good. I'm thinking it should involve strategy & role playing and last 3 weeks max. There should be a tangible prize or incentive for the winner(s). The hard part would be finding enough interested people willing to commit and actually play for 2-3 weeks.
