basically, its a live auction site. its different from ebay in that you have to actually purchase the bids in order to bid (60 cents each) and the auction time increases every time someone bids. It is NOT a scam. I joined in october 2010 and won 4 things. 15 bids voucher, altec lansing bluetooth speaker for around $20 (retail $55), excalibur 300 poker chip set for around $10 (retail $45), sandisk ultra 16gb memory card for around $6.50 (retail $35). These are the TOTAL prices which means it includes shipping and the bids I used. To get started, you need to get a beginner pack which includes 100 bids for $60. From there, you bid on stuff you want to win for cheap. pretty cool site. you just have to be smart and not waste all your bids in one auction. if you guys have questions, let me know. this site is like swoopo but I cant say anything about that cuz i never tried swoopo before. Those people make SO MUCH money.. it's ridiculous. But yea, penny auctions are a lot about psychology...
