I`ve always wanted to make an SC mod which spins like a DC mod. Statistics: [Swift Mod] [COP = COG [21.3 cm] [As heavy as a Buster CYL] [Single-sided] [Non-writable] [Estimated Cost~$20] [Pens Needed] (1)Uni Laknock (1)Uni Signo Broad (1) Pilot G2 (1) Pilot G3 (1) Sailor Gel Pen (1)Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip (1)Crayola Supertip (1) Dr. Grip Shaker Pencil Japanese(SMALL TIP VERSION, NOT THE ONE USED FOR DR KT) (1) Zebra Airfit (optional) (1)Penwish Ring Hoop(optional) [Tools Needed] Pliers Electric Tape Blu-Tack Tweezers

SpoilerFirstly, take out all the necessary parts of the pen. You should have these 1.) Remove the G2 grip from the front body of the g2.Then wrap some blu-tack around the Dr. Grip metal rod and insert it all the way into the G2 front body.It should look like this. 2.)Cut the Uni Laknock grip into 2 pieces, 3.5cm and 0.6 cm Cut 2 pieces of 0.4cm Uni Signo grip Arrange the tip and grips on the G3 body(from step 1) in this order. G3 tip-->3.5cm Laknock grip-->Signo grip-->0.6cm Laknock grip-->Signo grip It should look like this. The front part of the mod is now completed. 3.)Remove the inktube and backplug from the Crayola supertip body with the help of a plier.Wrap tape near the front part of the body a little more than enough to cover one whole diameter of the body. The width of the tape should be 0.7cm.Put the airfit ring and penwish ring hoop onto the body from the back until it reaches the tape.Ensure that the airfit ring is snug between the tape and the penwish ring hoop. The body is now completed. 4.) Cut off the clip and shave the nubs on the cap. Remove the small rubber piece inside the G3 cap.Add 6 rings of sailor gel onto the cap. Cut a 2cm piece of Hybrid Gel Grip grip, and wrap an insert (2cm,5.5cm) around it(reduce the length of the insert if you are using thicker paper). With a little bit of blu-tack in the Dr.Grip tip, stack it onto the Signo tip.Insert the back part of the signo tip into the HGG grip, so that the tip will not rattle. The back part of the mod should be arranged in this order. G3 cap--> Stacked tips( dr grip tip & signo tip)---> Hgg grip with insert The back part of the mod is now completed. 5.) Assemble the mod together, joining the front, body and back parts. *(In order to join the front part and the body together, screw the front part into the body with some force, just like how u put together a Pilot G2) You have just made a Swift Mod! FAQs: Q)Why does the tip rattle sometimes? A)Ensure that the part of the signo grip is secured IN the hgg grip Q)The airfit ring keeps shaking about A)Make sure that the penwish ring hoop is tightly securing the ring in place, otherwise, keep moving the penwish ring hoop against the airfit ring.

I've spun this mod in real life and its pretty good. Good momentum, good length. Well balanced too. But i think it uses a lil bit too many pens and materials. (8 pens and 2 miscellaneous items) But if you have the time and money to spare, i'll say give this mod a go. Pictures of the tutorial are kindaaa small (imo). Might wanna enlarge them. ^.^ But good job for your first tutorial!

    Nope.Together with the g3 tip,it would just weigh like a airfit tip+grip

How does this spin like a dc mod? DC mods usually have symmetrical or very close to symmetrical weight distributions on either side of the mod. Balance does not = Spins like a dc mod. You use a metal rod on one side and a few tips on the other. It might be balanced but the momentum anf the way it spins will be different than a dc mod like a metallic comssa, disregarding the differences in weight of the two mods

When he says spin like a dc it probably means "as heavy as a dc mod" coz ive spun this in real life(like whitez) and i agree its pretty awesome especially for a first time. It has epic momentum and a good weight for a sc however the looks of it can still be further improved ^^ EPIC MOD THO.
