Board Comments / 'Quick' Edit Function?

I think it would be nice if editing could be done in a sort of 'quick' function, like quick replies so it doesn't have to load up a new page to edit out a comma for example. Just something that would make everyday foruming a bit easier, if possible. I know of other vBulletin 4 forums that have this function, so I'm assuming it wouldn't be too difficult to implement?

you mean you can edit any of your posts if you are browsing through a thread without having to press edit? thats a little... lazy... thats really not necessary

he means with normal posting, you have the "quick post" which is a box for posting within the thread itself, and the "standard post" which loads up another page with a bit more options and what not back in v3, there was the quick edit function which was like the quick post, where you can click a button and edit a post without having to load another page i also agree we should have this function it seems a little bit superfluous to load up another page if you are only going to fix one comma or add another line of text TEST EDIT: it works, thanks zombo

Yeah the board was having problems with it back when v4 first came out so Zombo just disabled it.
