wow.... just a tip there, i can't access your E:\ drive try uploading them first to a website like imageshack or photobucket also, a note, its great that you are modding, and sharing your mod, but first go to Show off your pens thread then if they like it and ask for a tutorial, you post it

Cheeze267;25498] Statistics: Name: Cheezemod COG: Center line - Equally balanced Length: 24.3 - 24.5 cm. You leave all the other parts open to the maker's choice. You can't possibly say this mod will use $2-4 because you don't know how much the maker will invest in it. I mean at LEAST tell us what YOU used for it. You can't tell the length, you can't tell the cost, you DON'T know if it's going to be balanced. What if someone who tries this mod uses a dr grip tip on once side and an hgg tip on the other? Heck I don't even know what Z-Pens are because you didn't even include pictures in this tutorial. The guide is so vague about parts AND it doesn't supply visual information. [QUOTE=Cheeze267 wrote: Q: I can't find any pen called Z-Pen. A: In some places they are called iPens, that's what I bought. Q: I can't find a random connector.
What the heck are these "places"? You call them iPens but again you are so vague that even if I try googling it, I get stuff completely unrelated to pens. See for yourself: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=iPen I mean seriously? "The Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ)"? Random connector? again VAGUE Now those of you reading this rant might be saying to yourself or yelling at the computer screen, "LEAVE HIM ALONE. STOP FLAMING HIM. STOP BEING MEAN TO THE NEWCOMER". But honestly, whenever you go into the tutorials forum, you see in BIG BOLD RED LETTERS STICKIED AT THE TOP OF THE FORUM: "[Guide]How to Create a Pen Modding Tutorial" I mean it is SO HARD TO MISS. He even took the template FROM THE THREAD. It says "NEWCOMERS PLEASE READ" and goes on to say:
Before Releasing a New Pen Modification Tutorial one needs to check to see if the Mod has been done before. "* The best way to do that is to take a picture of your pen mod and post it in the * "Is this mod new?" thread featured here: http://www.upsb.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=3594 AND/OR the * Show off Your Pens Thread featured here: http://www.upsb.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=2092 * Nine out of Ten Times if your pen has been made before, somebody else will comment and let you know. * If you wish to look deeper into finding out if your mod is new, please visit these Pens & Mods Resources * Pens & Mods Resources: http://www.upsb.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=211 * If indeed your pen is new, look at the communities opinions from the "Show off your Pens" Thread and then evaluate * if your mod is worth releasing a tutorial before
I can't understand why you wouldn't do what a moderator suggested in this guide that you obviously saw. If you're new here, wouldn't you want to keep in line, get people to like you, do the right thing? My rant in the other thread got deleted because they got rid of the thread but seriously, newcomers have GOT to start reading. I wouldn't have so much of a problem with this if this guy got some requests, if he at LEAST posted it in some other threads before making a tutorial.
