GPC has taken trolling to the next level... http://vimeo.com/13919684 http://vimeo.com/14323827 the judges filmed how they "evaluated" the combos from the first two rounds of the GPC Tournament and released the vids... then the tournament got shut down.

Content of Video 1 [hide]00:00 - 00:20 - Introduction, Date is august 5th, gpc tournament is starting 00:20 - 00:50 - Talking about the PM I received from p@sc@l, I am accepted as a Judge, vstrike as well 00:55 - 01:05 - Vstrike and Sherni introducing themselfs over skype 01:05 - 01:14 - "As you can probably think already, there is something not right in this tournament" 01:15 - 01:27 - Showing the screen where we talk to p@sc@l in ICQ, explaining him the judging system 01:28 - "You know how laughing should sound like 8)" 01:29 - 02:16 - 1st Match: Nomekop vs. Rampage judging process. I said: "Nomekop had a nice finisher, he should win" - Vstrike replied "I didn't watch it but I agree" 02:16 - 03:05 - Explaining the judging system. The usual "5 categories smoothness difficulty etc" system, nothing special. Though we decide by who is pal, friend or who we personally like best and so on. 03:06 - 03:22 - Eisfliege vs. lekunga, 2nd match. Sherni said "Lekunga wins". I replied "To be fair, I'm going to watch both of the clips" 03:23 - The video suddenly stops loading 03:24 - 03:32 - Lekunga wins since Eisflieges video takes too long to load 03:33 - 04:15 - Krüppel vs. Zuppa, Krüppel wins because of his video quality. I laughed about Zuppa writing "tourney", not realizing that this is an actual word. 04:15 - 04:20 - Reik wins even though he didn't submit a clip (actually he loses, I'll explain the details later) 04:21 - 04:45 - Making fun of a mistake in Krüppels description saying "I thing you win". Not funny. 04:47 - 04:55 - Might vs. Banza. Might wins, obviously. No judging necessary 04:57 - 05:20 - P@sc@l vs. Empty. Vstrike is saying that p@sc@l once said "Oh empty, your clip is so good. You are most likely going to be in the semi finals". Therefore we concluded: Empty must win because p@sc@l, the organizer said so. 05:20 - 05:25 - Next battle is with DG-End. His efforts in style and technique are legendary. Thats why we really looked forward for this one. 05:25 - 05:50 - We had to download his clip. Vstrike wasn't able to find the file so quickly and asked us to not spoiler anything. We however did so. He was not amused. 05:50 - 06:05 - Win without a doubt. 06:05 - 06:25 - Sherni pointed out a sequence in DG-Ends combo. I rewatched it and had to analyze it frame by frame. "Exact SEVEN copy if you ask me." 06:30 - 07:45 - Impulse vs. Evas. "We are going to judge this fairly." What we did was nothing more than going through the categories, always saying "impulse was better?" - "yes". 07:47 - 08:04 - Lawliet vs. XDmaster. Lawliet won since his combo was better by a lot and he is also a pal. 08:04 - 08:12 - Penstriker vs. Zevi. Vstrike claimed he watched the clips before and that he can assure us that Zevi deserves to win. I accepted this decision saying "you watched it? great, then I don't have to". 08:12 - 08:25 - I pointed out the penstriker is not only a penspinner but also a rapper. "What if he wants to beat us up?". Well, Zevi is still winning. 08:26 - 08:48 - Grindbase vs. Zuckeragent. Both participants didn't submit a clip. We throw a coin, Grindbase wins. 08:48 - 09:07 - Elfenjunge vs. PenspinnerH. Coin again. "Elfenjunge got lucky." 09:10 - 09:25 - Kratos vs. BBR - "Since both of these guys are our friends it was a tough decision. Since BBR is a closer friend, he wins. Sorry Kratos" 09:25 - 10:05 - Stuhl vs. momentum - It was pretty obvious... 10:20 - 11:30 - Colddi lost because his clip was 2 seconds too long. (Troll videos aside, this was the only match where we really didn't judge fairly. BUT colddi was informed about this beforehand) 11:30 - 11:43 - "see you next round"[/hide] I think by now most people realized that the videos were the troll. Still hurt the community a lot. And looking back this was a pretty stupid thing to do.

if you want to see an obvious example, go to around 8 minutes of first vid... i think you can figure that out. like I said its not low quality trolling like here by just post flames, its the next level of trollage by screwing results up -

I am cool and you are not." 0:30 - 0:34 - Sherni introducing himself. Don't understand what he is saying towards the end though. 0:37 - 0:50 - 1st match nomekop vs. Lekunga. I asked "Did you watch the clips?", vstrike replied "Yes. Well not the one by Nomekop but Lekunga wins." 0:50 - 1:00 - Sherni and I agree. Sherni then suggested that I make up a more detailed evaluation and send them to p@sc@l. 1:00 - 2:40 - Vstrike agrees and then we talk about what categories Lekunga should win. Sherni was suggesting to let nomekop win 1 category : creativity when vstrike said "No, fuck this". Lekunga won 6:0 then. 2:40 - 3:30 Krüppel vs Koksi - Sherni pointed out that krüppel was doing "minwoo action". Ok. Also - boring stuff. 3:35 - 3:55 Vstrike : "Seriously now. Skill. Do you know how DIFFICULT this "minwoo action" is?" taichi : "no, not at all. but proceed." vstrike is then counting every category and I reply with "yes?". Then he concludes - "ok he wins. 5:1" 3:55 -4:05 - taichi "Wow, that means we really decided this on fairly." *Long pause* Sherni "No." 4:08 - 4:12 - taichi "OK, the 3rd match Might vs. Empty. Might wins. The end." 4:12 - 4:57 - DG-End vs. Impulse. "Really sad that DG-End can't win this one. Even though he made an exact SEVEN copy again, there wasn't his famous TF-Charge. There impulse wins. Sorry" ... (Also - this was really mean, not funny and I'm sorry for that) 5:00 - 5:10 (NOTE: Lawliet and Zevi both submitted only a Thumbaround.)I was saying "P@sc@l wrote that the clips from Round 1 are to judge" 5:10 - 5:24 - when all of the sudden vstrike shouted "FCK YOU P@SC@L! HAHA". I explained that we are going to judge the thumbarounds anyways. Vstrike then shouted "new" since he wanted to make a new take. His words were obviously pretty insulting and since vstrike has no balls he got scared. 5:25 - 5:40 - Analyzing the Thumbarounds. lawliet made a nice smiley, had to point that out 8) 5:40 - 6:20 - Vstrike was saying that lawliet made 2 Thumbarounds. Therefore he has to win. In the end he won 2:1. Because he made 2 versions of his thumbaround while Zevi only made 1. 6:20 - 6:51 - We talked about the match BBR vs. Stuhl. Sherni said "Stuhl makes the same as every round". I objected "You have to judge the clips independently. You are a rather lousy judge if I may say that. I would have preferred it to judge this with zombo." 6:50 - 7:00 - Sherni : "Then you are going to be outshone. Just like at DE-Gather 10!" taichi: " ;____; Fck. " 7:10 - 7:50 - Talking about the combos. Sherni claimed "Stuhl has a nice JapEn Style". I said "repeat that please". And so he did. Then silence. In the end BBR won. 7:50 - 9:00 - Boring. 9:00 - the end - Goodbye. "Sherni, vstrike, any last words?" - Vstrike "Yo mama you sonofab...", sherni "taichis mother is blowing at psws-blog.de" (insider joke in GPC).[/hide] Fun fact - I lost all my credibility in GPC (and maybe UPSB, idk).

also the tournamnet was restarted with different organizer and judges, but the old judges are now participants in the new tournamnet lolololol also stuhl quit GPC after this but will still represent them in WT/WC and maybe official collabs (not sure)

Thats not determined yet. Some people (for example the former organizer) are against it. But I may no longer be in charge of editing GPC 3rd. I was the designated editor but Robert didn't contact me in like a week. -
