General Discussion / How do I get people to understand why I spin?

I've been spinning for a while, however I have been asked many questions like "I don't get it, what is the point?" and I try to explain it to them but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me stop annoying them (that isn't violent)?

Ask them why they watch tv or why they go on the computer or why they do any of the hobbies they do, because it's something to do with your time and this one happens to be kewl

To be honest here, just tell them that you found it interesting and fun. It's your life, live it how you want to live it. Don't let the people around you make fun of you be the reason to stop pen spinning. I did the same thing and after a year later everyone at school knew me as the only kid that pen spins.

Have they ever seen the vastness of talents and randomness known as YouTube??? You should respond with "I don't get your question. Really, I don't get that question in so many ways". Just my humble opinion.

Just ignore them or ''cos i want to'' with attitude. Once they realize you're not budging, then they'll start copying you. Well that's what 21% (actually 80% i just wanted to say 21) of my friends do when i spin.

No one asked me back in high school cuz I was a xl33tbadassSPINNAx who got his respect. Anyways if I were asked I'd just answer trivially and say "I was born with this skill, I don't know how I do it"
