I have to agree with @Ivabra. Although i am no expert at pen spinning, ACT's combo had way to many fingerless thumbaround reverses in his combo. But what do i know?

hes trying to introduce the concept of the hand in a parallel position that is different from standard hand positions. Notice the back of the hand trying to be more parallel to the floor when doing power passes and FL TA palm spins. Its a risky move because aesthetically it does not do much for such an increase an awkward difficulty. I dont think the concept was ready for a world cup. ive tried concepts like these before but for me its never been comfortable to execute consistently. -

Yeah I got the new concept and I agree with you that it was not ready to be in the WC. It's very interesting but he focused to much on it and forgot the other elements that a combo should be made of -
