After popular demands, we have decided to offer premium membership. This is a great way to show your appreciation for the site and receiving some incentives for it: Membership benefits: - Colored name and group: ORANGE OR PURPLE OR RAINBOW** (visible in shoutbox, userlist, etc.) - Group icon:

- Private forum: The Vault. We are bringing back UPSBv2's secret forum to UPSB for premium members. It will serve the same purpose as before: content will be posted early there prior to public release. Premium members can also use the space to share bonus content.
- 9000 PMs
- Bypass shoutbox flood control*: No waiting time between shouts.
- Ability to create private chatrooms: See here for more details.
- Larger personal picture and avatars: 200x200, 100kb instead of 150x150, 50kb and 150x150 instead of 90x90.
- Mass PM limit from 5 to 10: Can CC PMs to more people.
- All the features of a PS-addict user (300+ posts): Including voting, wiki editing, team creation, custom rank.
- Attachments: Storage raised to 50 MB of attachment space.
- Photo Gallery: Storage raised to 50 MB of photos, 100 photos.
- Future features: We will add new features as we find them or get requests for.
* Do not abuse these features. You are still subject to the rules of the board.

Subscription plans:
The current plans available are:
$5 per month | $15 per 3 months | $28 per 6 months | $50 per year
How to subscribe
- If you have already donated before: We will credit your past donations. Contact us and tell us what subscription plan you want.
- Otherwise, go in My Controls. Click on "Purchase Paid Subscriptions". You will be able to select your plan.
- Currently, we only support PayPal. If you have a credit card/gift card but no paypal, PM Penwish, he can take your payment. If you want to use another payment method, contact us.
- Contact us if you would like to buy membership for another member.
- If you have any problem enabling your membership or receiving all the features you are entitled to, contact us.
- Go in Settings > Permission Groups. You can change your display color here. (Rainbow is the third option)
- When using PayPal, please leave your name under "special instructions".

Additional notes
Premium membership is non-refundable, non-transferable.
Premium members must respect the rules of the forum and may be suspended for any violation.
Subscription prices and features are subject to changes.
We reserve the right to refuse to offer the service to any member.
If you want to make a direct donation to UPSB, click here.
The old announcement thread, "Friends of UPSB" will now only list direct donations and will include a link to all current premium members.
Thank you! Your money will be used to cover server costs. If we receive enough money, we could even improve our infrastructure to provide a more reliable and faster service. The rest of the money will be used to finance UPSB events and projects. In addition to premium membership, consider buying UPSB merchandise from Penwish (more information here). -

I think a lifetime buy for one price would actually be a good idea. Even if its like some ridiculous price. Also, where does all this money go to? Is it just to maintaining the site and stuff like that? Or... Well either way. The thought just crossed my mind earlier so I thought I'd ask.

Yeah the server costs recur every month. We used to keep track of it in this thread, obviously it's not up to day but you can see the kind of costs we have -

yea me too if there every was a lifetime offer or maybe a 5 or 10 year one i cant hadle small payments good rather just save up and get it over with for a long time -

if you donate enough money to UPSB, we will eventually granti you permanent premium status after your subscription is over. we havent decided how much is enough yet though.
