Hey UPSB, k2 here, and I am really need a new phone. I've been stuck with this: motorola piece of shit for about 5 years now. It can't send or receive texts and barely functions as it is. My family uses the AT&T service, and I'm looking for a quick messaging phone from their website. So right now my main interest is the Pantech Link. I've also been suggested the Pantech Ease, Pantech Impact, Samsung Strive, Samsung Flight, or the Sharp FX. Any suggestions? This list is really long and I'm trying to narrow it down. Feedback very much appreciated since I know nothing about phones. Thanks!

Im very satisfied with my blackberry. Even though it's a blackberry curve, it gets the job done. Otherwise i don't know much about smartphones anymore cause i've been stuck with my bberry. I also have t-mobile so i dunno >_> I'd suggest the bberry bold :)

Captivate/Galaxy S is pretty good + you get the contract discount w/AT&T, it's probably the only good Android phone atm.

I agree with Zaki here, and it's true. I have the Vibrant for T-Mo and It's a really good phone. The Captivate is the second Android phone to come out for AT&T, the first one being the HTC Aria which, in my opinion, would also be a good choice to buy.

I actually don't think I can afford a smartphone anymore, the plan is about 85 bucks a month which is ridiculous. I've been looking at AT&T's quick messaging phones.

    it says $39.99 for nation 450 w/ rollover, 2GB data $25.00, and $15 for 4500 texts, that's about 80 bucks.

Unless you text a lot (and I mean A LOT) you wont need 4500 messages per month. Just go down to at least 1000 or so.

I actually can't, if I want to upgrade for a free phone, unlimited messages are actually required, so that's 20 bucks, making it 85 a month.
