I've been unactive in PS for some time and decided to make a mod..posted on SOYP and someone asked for this.(NMP=itsNick's Mechanical Pencil) ([B]NAME TO BE IMPROVED[/B])

[/SPOILER] ================================================================ [B]NMP G3 Mod[/B] [B]Details:[/B] -SC-MP -COG=Back heavy 2mm -NMP G3>G2-CTE Evolved for 1~2gm -0.5 Lead (cant find 0.7 so far) -approx. 20$ ================================================================ [B]Material List:[/B]

-x1 Hyper Jell(Grip and Cap) -x1 G3 with an extra G3 tips (x2Tips and body) -x1 Signo DX (Grip, Inktube and Tips) -x1 Needlepoint/Metallic Gel (Grip) (Some similar soft grip can be used) -x1 Hybrid Gel Grip/Sunburst (Ink Tube) -x1 Signo Broad (Grip and Tip)(Cut the grip into x1 1cm and x1 0.75cm ) -x1 Small Spring (Optional) -x1 2ring of G2 Grip or similar legnth grip (0.4cm) -x1 Small O-Ring or a piece of grip -x1 Pilot 4+1 Light/Pilot 4+1 Dr Grip(much more costy and useless grip) (MP Mechanism)(You can get it here http://www.jetpens.com/Pilot-4-1-Light-4-Color-0.7-mm-Ballpoint-Multi-Pen-0.5-mm-Pencil-White-Body/pd/3351) ================================================================ Tutorial in spoiler Below: [SPOILER="Tutorial"] 1. Disassemble your DX like so and cut the grip as shown

2. Process your G3 like so, remove backcaps and stuffs, [B]FILE THE FRONT BUMP COMPLETELY SMOOTH, NOT THE THREAD[/B]

3. Remove the HJ clip, Make diamond cut if needed, cut your Hyperjell grip to 0.9mm

4. Clean the inktubes (DX,HGG) and cut them following the pictures (must be exact)

5. Connect them with the [B]exact[/B] length(Signo>Hgg>Signo), stick the electrical tape onto the MP mechanism, put it into the front part of the inktube

6.Now its the assemble time, Screw your G3 tip onto the barrel, [B]Wrap some tape so that it has the same thickness as DX with Signo Broad on[/B], REMEMBER TO CUT YOUR SIGNO BROAD GRIP INTO 1CM, Put the Signo Tip and the spring into Needlepoint grip following the order, The spring can be subbed with a small grip

7.The front part is done

8. As for the cap part, do it following this (despite the 1cm, change into 0.9)

9.Wrap the backpart of the inktube so that it can screw onto G3 tips, wrap the backpart of G3 with electrical tape(Not too thick) and put in insert, push everything together and you are done!

[B]Adjust the mod if something went wrong[/B] [/SPOILER] =[B]END OF TUTORIAL[/B]============================================= =[B]Q&A PART[/B]=================================================== 1. Why Signo>HGG>Signo? - Because Signo inktube has a bigger diameter that can fit into G3 with lesser amount of tape and it can stabilize the back cap, aand the HGG infront can block the MP mechanism from going inside. 2. Whats the function of spring? - To minimum the damage taken when dropped, you may sub it with soft grip. 3. Why is the backcap wobbling? - Wrap more tape around the back of body (Less amount, Unlike other G3 mod) 4. What if i don't want the MP Mechanism? - Try to readjust yourself.
