Introduction to Pen Mods"] ================================================= I. Introduction to Pen Mods: ================================================= ------------------------------------------------- A.) What is a Pen Mod Anyways? ------------------------------------------------- A Pen mod is a custom assembled pen specifically made for spinning. These pens use multiple parts from many different types of pens from around the world. The emphasis is put on creating balanced pen mods for easier manipulation. Each pen mod has unique traits such has having large amounts of weight for learning power-tricks or grips on each end for doing wiper tricks. Every mod is different and every person has different tastes in what feels comfortable for spinning. It all is a matter of preference. Some pens can be as simple putting pen caps on both sides of a pen body, others require grips to be cut, bodies to be filed or cut, glueing metal tips on, and etc. These custom made pens can get very expensive however. Pen mods can range anywhere from $1 all the way to $35.00. Rare pens can even go as high as $75.00 + in the Trade/Auction Section. ------------------------------------------------ B.) The Different Types of Pens: ------------------------------------------------ As I had mentioned previous there are hundreds of different pen mod combinations that can be created. With so many different pieces and parts/types it's hard to keep track and find specific parts/mods. Fortunately, we have Jargon used on UPSB to help sort through this giant list of mods. With that here is a basic run-down of basic notation used in to differentiate the different types of pens. 1.) {SC} Single Capped - A mod that has a designated front and back with only one Cap. - Ex: RSVP MX 2.) {DC} Double Capped - A mod that has no designated side with two caps on each end. - Ex: Comssa Mod 3.) {RT} Retractable - A mod that writes using a retractable mechanism like a normal retractable pen. - Ex: Cyon Mod 4.) {MP} Mechanical Penic - A mod that writes using a mechanical pencil mechanism. - Ex: G.J.H.

=============================================== II. What Pen Should I Use? {Newcomers}: =============================================== ----------------------------------------------- A.) Single-sided: ----------------------------------------------- *********************************** 1.) Short Hands (16 cm - 18 cm) *********************************** RSVP MX Common Variations: V1/V2/CX/ The RSVP MX offers a great starting point in terms of pen mods. It is fully customizable in nearly every color combination and can be made from many substitute pens making the parts very easy to obtain. (The MX is short for MAXIMUM.) =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Fully Customizable Color Scheme and Design + Easy to make (Hardest part requiring a screwdriver through the backcap) + Easy to substitute parts if the exact ones aren't available + Cheap (Average being under $5.00) + Retains Original Look and Function of a Normal pen (doesn't stick out that much in public) =============================================== Con's: =============================================== - Not Fully Center Balanced (if Made the standard way) - Authentic parts are not Native to some countries G3-MX/MX² Common Variations: GSHA/G.J.H. The G3-MX is an easy alternative mod for those who have access to Pilot G3 pens. It has the same customizable traits as the RSVP mx, but features a slightly larger circumfrence than the RSVP which some find is more appealing spinning-wise. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Fully Customizable Color Scheme and Design + Very easy to Make + Cheap (Also under the $5.00 mark) + Writable + Balanced =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Shorter than most mods - Some parts are not available to some countries - A tad too lite for some spinners Hybrid-DC-HGG The Hybrid DCHGG is a great spare part mod that has a high amount of customizability with a very small price tag. The barrel uses the Hybrid Gel Grip barrel which is quite similiar to the RSVP, but more accessible in some countries. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Customizable Grip Schemes and In-lay + Doubled Sided Grips on a SC form factor + Balanced + Cheap ($5.00-$6.00) =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Litte bit more complicated Assembly Process - Limited to the Colors of G2 Grips - Requires a few extra pens to make *********************************** 2.) Medium Hands(19 cm - 21 cm) *********************************** #2 Pencil A Pencil is the cheapest and easiest choice for learning to spin. They come in every color of the rainbox and they're easily replaceable. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Great for Learning Fundamental Tricks + Found Everywhere + Insanely Cheap + No Modding Required =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Doesn't have that Modded Flash Factor - Very Lite Lemon Mod Common Variations: MCX v1/v.4 The Lemon mod is an a soft body variation of an RSVP MX that features a longer body and higher momentum than a traditional RSVP MX. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Higher Momentum than an RSVP MX + High Durability + Soft-body Finish + Balanced + Easy to make =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - A bit more expensive than some mods ($8.00) - Dong-A Signs pens are exclusive to Korea (But can be bought through online retailers such as http://www.penwish.com ) - Limited customization for body colors Hybrid Commsa MX Common Variations: The Simplified HCMX The HCMX is another soft body variation take on the RSVP MX, but it features the front of a Dong-a Sign pen with a tip as the bottom side of the mod. It also writes in HGG Gel ink which allows for a much smoother writing experience than the typical ballpoint pen. (The simplified version eliminates the writablility in exchange for an easier modding process) =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Only uses (3) Pens + Higher Momentum than an RSVP MX + High Durability + Soft-body Finish + Balanced =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - The Dong-A sign pen and HGG aren't available in all countries - Limited Customization RSVP MMT Common Variations: RSVP AMMX, RSVP NX MMT The RSVP MMT (MMT = Momentum) is a gripless take on the RSVP MX. Instead of a standard grip on the front, a clear barrel section is placed there for a second sectioned insert plus an increased spinning space. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Fully Customizable Color Scheme + Increased Spinning Room + Slightly Higher momentum + Cheap =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Somewhat difficult modding process - The HGG tip can be a bit difficult to find locally - No Grips *********************************** 3.) Large Hands (22 cm + ) *********************************** RSVP NX MMT The RSVP NX MMT is a lengthier version of the MMT which kicks up the length an additional (2) cm to the MMT. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Ideal for longer hands + Higher Momentum than the MMT + No more expensive than the MMT =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Slightly difficult modding process - Parts not available in all countries - No Grips MSXA The MSXA is an extended MX that incorporates a Dong-A Sign pen cap as it's main extension. The Weight can be modified easy as adding a few extra tips with some teflon tape or placing them in the cap. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Fully Customizable color-scheme + Ideal for Longer Hands + Increased spinning room without sacrificing grips + Easy to Make =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - the 4-tipped version is quite expensive - Dong-a sign pens aren't available in most countries ----------------------------------------------- B.) Double-sided ----------------------------------------------- *********************************** 1.) Short Hands (16 cm - 18 cm) *********************************** Comssa mod Common Variations: Metallic Comssa/Cheat Comssa The Comssa mod is a korean mod which features a double capped Dong-A Sign pen. It's a staple of numerous double sided mods. The mod itself only uses (3) pens which makes it immensely popular and appealing all around. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Balanced + (Optional) Double Sided Grips + Easy to Mod + Soft Body (Durable) + Cheap =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Dong-a sign pens aren't available in most countries Bictory Common Variations: Extended Bictory/Signo Tipped Bictory The Bictory is usually the go to mod for most beginners in pen spinning. It uses 2 of the cheapest most common pens found in around the world (Bic Round Stics) and is very easy to mod without running the risk of ruining expensive parts. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Balanced + Insanely Cheap + Easy to Mod + (Optional) Double Sided Grips + Available in most countries =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - The Barrel can be a bit too thin for some - Not as Aesthetically Flashy Ballsign Mod Common Variations: Metallic Ballsign, Ballsign KT The ballsign is a light double sided mod that features a tappered barrel and translucent body. It also uses a unique grip styling that is beneficial to infinity and wiper based trick-sets. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Great for Infinities + Insertable Double Sided Mod + Easy to mod =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Super-grips and Japanese Dr. Grips can be difficult to obtain - Considered to be too light for some - Can be a bit expensive from using the Dr. Grip Double Capped Dong-a v2 This v2 pen was recently released last year as Dong-A took notice of how popular it's normal sign pen had been selling due to spinning and made it a bit thinner and shorter for spinners with smaller hands. (This can generally only be bought on penwish to current knowledge) =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Ideal for smaller hands + Cheap + Same visual aesthetics as a normal Sign pen in a smaller package =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Very Lite - The caps can't natively hold HGG tips for a metallic configuration *********************************** 2.) Medium Hands(19 cm - 21 cm) *********************************** Metallic Comssa Common Variations: Signo Tip Comssa/Cheat Comssa The Comssa Metallic (original name) is a small add on mod to the normal Comssa mod in which two HGG tips are screwed onto the caps; that of which provides an additional one to two centimeters of overall length. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Higher Momentum Than a standard comssa mod + Very Easy to mod =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Can be expensive - Parts aren't found in all countries Double Capped rushon Common Variations: Rushon comssa The rushon mod is a very simple japanese marker that's double-capped. The body is unique with having a slick finish coating which allows for easier top spin tricks. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Unique slick body type + Higher Spinning Space than a Comssa mod + Very Easy to mod + Relatively Cheap =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Little Momentum - Body only available in one color - Slick body Type (Some don't care for it) - Not available in countries outside of Japan Dr. ST Variation of: Dr. KT/CT/M&M/AC The Dr. ST is an american variation of the famous Dr. KT pen mod (see below in intermiediate for details) that gives a similiar high momentum spinning experience, but at a fraction of the cost. ***Please note this pen is not recommended for starting on, but to grow INTO to reduce the injury of hand muscles*** =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Very High Momentum + Increased Spinning Space + Uses Common Parts =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Can be too heavy for some spinners - Considerably more expensive than most pens - Most parts are exclusive to the USA *********************************** 3.) Large Hands (22 cm + ) *********************************** Extended/Semi-extended bictory The extended bictory is a variation on the dirt cheap bictory mod mentioned previous in the recommendations. Instead of using only the bic stic to make it double sided, a Bic Stic Grip front is incorporated onto one(Semi) or both sides(EXT) of the bic. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Dirt Cheap + Adjustable Length + Easy to mod + Higher Momentum than a standard Bictory + Uses Common Pens =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Not as Aesthetically flashy - Limited color options Rushon Comssa Common Variations: Metallic Rushon/Metallic Rushon Comssa The Rushon comssa replaces the standard rounded caps with Dong-A sign pen caps on both sides. This creates a very long comssa using the slick body. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Increased Spinning Room + Higher Momentum than the standard rushon mod + Easy to mod =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - The slick body appeal is limited - limited color options - Pens are limited to Japan

----------------------------------------------- III. (Intermiediate) What Pen Should I use? ----------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------- A.) Single-sided ----------------------------------------------- *********************************** 1.) Short Hands (16 cm - 18 cm) *********************************** G.J.H. Common Variations: Saizen G3, Nikoo G3 The G.J.H.is a G3 based mechanical pencil mod. It features a fully functional pentel sharp or Jedo pencil with a clickable once piece body. This mod allows for the G3 to retain the form factor and small size of the G3 MX, but dramatically change the momentum of the pencil. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Increased Momentum from the G3-MX + Fully usable Mechanical Pencil + Fully customizable =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Expensive - Difficult Modding Process - Jedo's or Pentel sharps can be difficult to obtain Toro MX (Hi-tec C) Variation of: RSVP MX This is the same basic RSVP MX, but using a Hi-tec C tip and a G2 grip on the front for a slightly higher momentum at no sacrifice to length or significant weight change. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Increased momentum from an RSVP MX + Easy to mod or upgrade parts from an MX + Fully Customizable + Uses Common parts =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Requires one additional pen not found in all countries s777 MX The s777MX is the signature Single sided mod used by s777. It's uniquely made using a thicker cap on top of a G1 body to extend the overall length which in turn mounts the RSVP cap right on top. The aesthetics don't have the greatest appeal, but where it lacks in aesthetics it makes up in unique spinnability. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Unique spinning quality + Optimized for Wiper/infinity tricks + Very easy to Mod =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Super lavable Caps are rare (1st backcap) - Either a LOVE IT or HATE IT mod - Slight Learning Curve OverGround Mod The Overground mod is a very easy variation on the G3MX design. It incorporates stacking an additional Tip on the front of a plastic tipped G3 to give the same length extension as the G.J.H. without the intensive modding; providing a higher momentum. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Larger Front Grip + Very easy to mod + Similar momentum to a Signo tipped RSVP MX =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Parts are only available in some countries *********************************** 2.) Medium Hands(19 cm - 21 cm) *********************************** Spinner-named G3 Mods Variations and types: Key3 G3, Kuzu G3, Saizen G3, Coloumb G3, Seven G3 These japanese mods all have a single trait common to all of them, Tip-stacking. The benefit of this is it allows for dozens of different weight/style combinations, but each with it's own unique spin type =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Fully Customizable color/grips/inlays + Various Weighting options + Flash Factor =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Very Expensive: from $15.00 - $25.00 + per mod - Requires lots of parts - Difficult modding process Impact MX The Impact MX is Kam's follow up to the RSVP MX he had created when the pen spinning communities first had started. It utilizes the same form factor as the RSVP MX, but adds additional weight to the front and back without making it feel overly heavy. The front uses a more cushy Impact RT grip making infinities easier than the original RSVP MX. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Great Momentum + Extremely Durable + Mostly Customizable =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Requires specific brass washers and screws - More expensive that most pens (About $15) - Can be a bit heavy for some spinners Ayatori Lakubo Jell Mod The Ayatori mod popularized the Grip-cutting scene into what it is now. It has a very high momentum and a high level of customization. Allowing for Grip-cuts, inserts under the grip-cut, normal inserts, and an insert in the cap if desired. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Flash Factor + Higher Momentum than most Mods + Fully Customizable + Lots of front grip (without Grip cut) for infinities =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Lakubo body is thinner than most clear hard plastic pens - Can be too heavy for some spinners - Potentially difficult modding process for high end customization ********************************** 3.) Large Hands (22 cm + ) ********************************** Kuzu EXT This mod is a variation of the original Kuzu G3 mod adapted for longer hands. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Great for Larger hands + Higher Momentum than the original Kuzu + Same Flashy Aesthetic =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Potentially too heavy - Even more expensive than the Original Kuzu 4-Tipped MSXA This MSXA includes the use of four HGG tips, two on each end, to increase the weight and length of the original msxa. =============================================== Pro's: =============================================== + Fully Customizable + Easy to upgrade from a previous MSXA + Extended Spinning Space + Medium-weight momentum =============================================== Cons's: =============================================== - Expensive The SX The SX mod was a play on the Minwoo SC mod B.) Double-sided 1.) Short Hands (16 cm - 18 cm) - Namae Mod - Ballsign KT 2.) Medium Hands(19 cm - 21 cm) - Cheat Comssa - Dr. KT - BusterCYL - Mr. somsak 3.) Large Hands (22 cm + ) - Sankaku Sailor Twin Mod - Vicgotgame Mod - CK Mod
@razr: use the search bar i was kind enough to do it for you, and even kinder to search the v3 forum as well http://www.upsb.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=4067&hl=g3-mx and iMatt, this is great, but maybe add the links to the tutorials for each pen, so 1. it stops "how do i make" posts and 2. its convenient and easy to find all the tuts edit: also, make more spoilers, so it breaks the post into more sections ie. have big subheadings for "beginner" "intermediate" etc. and have spoilers for "small hands" "big hands" currently, its a big wall of text under the spoilers great thread though, should be really helpful for the beginners

10. Fran

Dont get a buster as a beginner a metal comssa is balanced and the rsvp mx is front heavy both are light so its personal preference

11. Paramours
Date: Mon, Aug 2 2010 23:29:13

metal comssa is the best choice, as it's both light and very well balanced mx's are also light, but aren't balanced properly busters are for intermediate spinners or for those who have rather large hands

MX is back heavy, not front heavy

yea go for the comssa or mx. mx cause it looks better comssa cause its balanced

15. casual
Date: Tue, Aug 3 2010 03:36:04

I'd say metallic comssa over mx. An mx w/ an hgg tip is just too unbalanced, if you're trying to learn, you're better off with something more balanced, even if the mx looks better.

I've been spinning for about 3 months now and I'm wondering what pen I should get for late Christmas. I'm trying to look for a heavier mod thats also fairly long. What do you think? Metal Rushon Japanese Comssa? Buster CYL? The Namae? Flying Panda Mod? I don't care about price; this is my Christmas present!

So I joined the UPSB forum a monthish or two ago? And well I asked what pen I should start off with. I said I had a Dr. KT and everybody was like "nuuuuu that's a bad pen for beginners." well not exactly but you get the point. So I ordered a comssa and honestly, I don't like it that much. It's so light that it is kind of even irritating because of its lightweight. I feel like I have no momentum. So I am currently spinning with a Flying Panda mod and a SC mod both of penwish. Maybe it's just that my first real spinning pen was so heavy that I got used to it? Anyway, out of curiosity, what was your first spinning pen? And does anyone else out there who didn't like the comssa as their first? Also, I'm trying to find a good mechanical pencil made for spinning. I love the pens and all but I kinda wanna spin WHILE taking tests. Makes me feel totally badass. :)

45. Ricercar
Date: Wed, Jan 19 2011 22:52:54

Well, the comssa is annoying because you are so used to the KT now. I started with a comssa as well.

46. Hex
Date: Wed, Jan 19 2011 23:19:29

Doesn't matter what everybody else says. You are the one spinning the mod. Spin whatever you feel is right. Personally, i think a kt is great for beginners. Just cuz it has so much momentum. So once you have the feel of the move and its in ur muscle memory, move to a lighter mod. Or else its just going to be difficult and you will get frustrated.

47. DLSpins
Date: Wed, Jan 19 2011 23:23:51

That only works if the mod is moderatly heavy because if it is too heavy it could possibly hurt your hand. Alos statring with an extremly heavy mod stops you from using lighter mods down the road.

48. ayoitsaho
Date: Wed, Jan 19 2011 23:31:13

Well I used the KT and now I switched to a Flying Panda mod and a Product SC mod which is definitely lighter than the KT but not by leaps and bounds compared to the weight difference of the KT and a comssa. Should I just spin the two I have now and maybe go down to a comssa in the future?

49. Holypie
Date: Wed, Jan 19 2011 23:34:18

Try to put signo tips on your comssa, or something of a similar weight like the Ajisai comssa (Emboss mod caps on a comssa body). Signo tipped mods are moderate weight providing a good amount of momentum since the tips are 3x heavier than HGGs but not insanely heavy like Dr. Grip tips.

50. shoeman6
Date: Wed, Jan 19 2011 23:37:46

Get a GJH mod for good(reliable) mech pencil, I think it should be common practice to recommend a standard unsharpened pencil as a beginners pen. an unsharpened will spin better, and improve your spinning, more than half the mods you will ever own. (general statement, but holds true...)

51. drgripable
Date: Wed, Jan 19 2011 23:43:03

@shoeman6 my first mod was an unsharpened pencil, took off the eraser/metal thingy, and added two bicmatic grips on each end.....now that i think of it, it DOES spin better than most of my current mods lol

52. Cloud
Date: Thu, Jan 20 2011 01:50:27

i thought pens with lots of momentum were easier for a beginner because for example thumbaround, all you have to do is push it and it goes around by itself. My lighter mods dont really do that and i have to push it more around. I barely tap my buster to do TA. Why does everyone think buster is bad for beginner?

53. Holypie
Date: Thu, Jan 20 2011 01:57:18

Because people will become reliant on it. Someone who starts off with a buster is only hurting themselves because they will only be able to spin a buster later.

Holypie wrote: Because people will become reliant on it. Someone who starts off with a buster is only hurting themselves because they will only be able to spin a buster later.
hey i can spin an mx, bictory, and unsharpened pencil with grips... but i still like my buster a lot more.

55. Holypie
Date: Thu, Jan 20 2011 02:04:00

The problem is not everyone can, and they'll use the buster as their only pen when they only know basic fundamentals. That and it hurts to use a buster, it's so heavy x_x

56. shoeman6
Date: Thu, Jan 20 2011 02:48:55

It's bad for control, if you want to learn the motions with a buster go ahead, but you shouldn't use it to practice if you want to actually LEARN the trick..., especially early on, you could easily hurt your hands/cause unnecessary strain, and honestly, it's not as rewarding. You see a lot of accelerated learning these days because of these mods, which is great, but some people argue that it's important to actually know how to spin...

Try a ryo cheat comssa, it has somewhat similar dimensions. But really, dont worry about copying him, theres nothing wrong with it. It wont matter if you get the same mod as your friend. If you really like the mod, then make it. Or get a different color than him if your still scared of copying him.

Eh I don't know if it makes that much of a difference. Maybe it does when you're learning your first few tricks or so but even at novice level it shouldn't be too much of a problem to deal with that grip. Grip Aviare is an alright choice imo.

Only problem with waterfall is that it costs quite a bit to make (for a beginner) and isn't very easy to get the parts in the U.S. or Canada. Super Pirats and Reynolds 094 are both European pens and the Dr. Grips are Japanese unless you go with the COG Dr. Grips.

People telling you it's too light are people who spin heavy mods. Keep spinning with light mods, when you're good with light mods you can spin any mod - light or heavy. People who spin heavy mods from the beginning struggle to spin light mods when they want to switch mods.

Or a Buster. Although I know nothing about a Macquium mod except that it's DC, considered heavy, and @Jonesps95's post and he wants something higher than a metallic comssa. So yeah, try a Waterfall mod, or some other mild-weighted mod, then move onto a Buster if you want even heavier. But I don't recommend jumping from a metallic comssa straight to a Buster... let's be mature about this, but take it slowly.

I would recommend, if you have the chance, to try a few different mods. You never know which mod will suit you.

What difference is it honestly going to make between him using a waterfall and a buster. Zzzz... Ktrinh logic.

@eurocracy: Execution. When you learn a new trick with a light pen and you can execute it perfectly with this light pen you will be able to execute this trick with every heavier pen as well. Vise versa when you learn a new trick with a heavy mod your fingers won't be able to exeecute the trick with a lighter pen.

I've found that to be quite untrue.

+1 I started off with a buster and now I can still spin *decently* well with lighter mods.

It was a recommendation, an opinion. I'm not, and no one should be, forcing anyone to do anything, I was merely giving my take and my experience on the topic. I'm sure some people beg to differ, but I personally find the answer "spin whatever you like" is a bit hard to learn from. If I were a beginner and read that, I would think "so.... I should spin whatever I want... a Buster or a Waterfall, though?" So what I'm trying to say is, it's an opinion, and a beginner could probably do well to start off with a heavy or light mod, I just thought a Waterfall would be a better choice.

Does a good pen mod really help?

Yes. While you can learn the fundamentals on normal pens, most combos need momentum to perform smoothly. All the mods I've heard of have more momentum than normal pens. The Bictory is light, but it is symmetrical and thus balanced, and it's momentum is increased considerably on adding a few random grips. Sent from my MK16i using Tapatalk 2

Do symetrical pens make it easier to perform trick?

133. shoeman6

It's preference. I think there was an article in v3 describing how some tricks were actually easier with asymmetrical mods. Personally I like symmetric pen because of the consistency of weight, you can pick it up and know that both sides are the same weight.

hi i've been spinning for almost 4 months, and i want to know are there some light mods that double sided, besides metal comssa and mx. right now i am spinning a waterfall and g3 mx.

Date: Thu, Mar 7 2013 03:58:46

mx isnt duble sided silly XD. and what you can do is make a comssa bt add extra grips and diffrent tips that are lighter to make it lighter if its too heavy. other light DC mods are inverse comssa, flying panda, rsvp vortex, bictory and rushon mod ^^.

What if you used a felt marker and put the cap of it on the back and used a different cap on the tip so there would be 2 caps on it. One on each side. Would that work?

(i am hoping that replying to this two-week old thread isn't considered "reviving an old thread") @eduguy : I also do that when i forget to bring my mods w/ me at school or something :) . It works pretty well, only a little off balance, but still a lot better than nothing.

It seems to work decent for me. Seems balanced. :)

Yeah this mod looks like it has some weight to it, it uses 2 signo tips I believe. If you are a beginner stay clear of these. @Ic3y if you are an intermediate spinner keep spinning a bictory or mod a RSVP MX as this will help you build style and make you godly. It also saves money as these mods are very expensive. I can mod an MX for you PM me. However if you really want one I suggest getting a waterfall or a flying panda as these are highly regarded as one of the best mods to spin with. Hope this helps and next time search for a relative thread and post there or give a quick shout on the shoutbox. Good luck and Happy Spinning! Regards Zen

@Ic3y PM means private message. To do this click on someone's name and go to private message. An MX is about 7$ on Penwish plus shipping which a hell lot internationaly. I can mod it for you. Cheaper. PM me if interested. My trading thread CLICK HERE Good luck and Happy Spinning! Regards Zen
