Regular Pen Discussion / Irregular Barrels

I noticed that some mods use "irregular barrels." What i mean is for example: a F-3000's body is "octogonical" instead of just circular. Does that make it harder to spin with? Are there any other pens like this with an irregular body?

Octagonal. Anyway, I kinda like pens with octagon bodies, like pencils or stabilo.88
