Linkages & Combos / Help with inverse sonic > fake double

I cannot figure out how to hold the pen to finish the first sonic before turning when my middle finger is below the pen (closer to me), as apposed to a normal fake double where you have your middle finger above the pen. Could someone post a video or explain how to do it?

ending w/ the middle finger below the pen is perfectly fine. All you need to do is do the initial TA push for the fake double w/ your index finger instead of middle. when learning links, you will sometimes need to make small tweaks like this to the trick(s) to make it work.

I know that I need to push with the index, but I just don't see where it can on spin if I have to use the index to push, since that's what I normally let it rest on before doing the fake double.
