Maybe I'm missing something here, but can someone explain what the uproar is about, and what exactly redistributing A&F apparel to the destitute will accomplish?

It's just the name that make it popular for teens. And their bags and pictures if I'm not mistaken.

cuz corporations that make money are evil and must be brought down. Don't you care about the poor people D: Maybe this thread would fare better with a more in depth OP.

A&F also doesn't want homeless people to wear their clothing because it gives them a "bad name." Like xSpin says, the CEO wants "pretty" people to wear their clothing. I read that A&F tries their hardest to avoid having their clothes sold in thrift shops or given as donations (not sure if true or not). I guess giving homeless people A&F to wear is like making a "u mad?" statement directed to the company.

This is why we should just all go around nude. Then we wouldn't have this problem.
