I love you. I also read the Artemis Fowl series, but never finished the latest book. It was red. Something about an Opal? You should definitely read the sequel for Ender's game AND the parallel novel series like, Ender's Shadow, Shadow Puppets, Shadow of the Hegemon, etc. etc Another good book that I read in Junior High was, The Ear, The Eye, and The Arm.

Series: * Bartimaeus Trilogy (Very well written and captivating. Wish more authors had the creativity of Stroud. Currently reading the newly released prequel The Ring of Solomon.) * Artemis Fowl Series (Atlantis Complex was a bit of a letdown. Time Paradox was pretty good.) * His Dark Materials Trilogy (Did my username give it away? hmm...) * Night Angel Trilogy (Good series if you like fantasy that is not too complicated and doesn't have hundreds of characters/places to keep track of). * Harry Potter series (Series in general was pretty good. I liked Book 4 the most and Book 5 the least. Book 7 could have been better written, but the story compensated for the writing and the ending was nonetheless satisfying.) Books: * The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time * Dean Koontz's older novels, like From the Corner of His Eye, Watchers, and One Door Away from Heaven. His newer novels suck. The Inheritance series was decent considering the author was 15 at the time he started writing the first book. Although, he should probably release the final book soon, as it has been awhile. Disliked 100 Years of Solitude and couldn't finish the book, but a lot of people seem to like it. These are first ones that come to mind. There are probably more but I can't remember.

Hmm, when you really want to begin to read discworld novels, the best would be to begin with "The colour of magic". That was the first, Pratchett wrote and yeah, it can be difficult to get into the series, because there are so many main charakters, who have their own "series" in it. The wizards, the watchmen, the witches and some other charakters, but when you get into it, and like his humor and parody on various fantasy elements, it´s very funny to read.

Yeah...i was never a huge fan of 1984. but brave new world is so weird. it seems to be like even though its super sad and kind of a unfulfilling ending, its still something really good and its something memorable. i kinda came out of reading it like i didn't know why i liked it, i just knew that i did. haha

not sure if you're familiar with the concept of a line break, but it usually implies the end of a sentiment. quoted gatzby, lol'd at it, then added my own favorite book 2 lines later you seem to be easily confused here lately, almost like you didn't know catch-22 was a book and thought i was using the colloquialism instead, and now are trying to cover for it.

Some of the classics I studied in English class are alright: I can think of Catcher in the Rye, Night, Of Mice and Men, The Great Gatsby, A Separate Peace, and Lord of the Flies off the top of my head. But I can't classify these as personal favourites just because I was forced to analyze these books to death, and I would probably not have read them otherwise. Although I'm curious as to general views on the following: What qualities do you primarily look for in a fiction book? Do you read non-ficton books? Are you able to read several fiction books concurrently, or do you read one at a time? Are you able to read a fiction novel, put it away for a few months, and continue exactly where you left off? Have you ever re-read a book? What about more than twice?

@Tialys A page-turner (meaning regardless of the content, it doesn't lull, if it's not interesting the whole way through then when it gets boring I usually stop reading) Yep One at a time No if I lose interest enough to put it down then I usually don't pick it back up at all Yeah all the time but only if it's been at least 2 years between readings

Best book I've read? I seriously liked Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene - because Im a space nerd! Its very clever, reading it for the second time atm. Worst book? Taming the Infinite by Ian Stewart, its awful. Really badly laid out and mainly about the history of maths, its hard to follow and doesn't explain the basics very well.
