Sigh. Being a new member yourself you should not use heavy mods. What you "need" and actually "want" are 2 different things. I doubt you "need" a heavy mod, but just want one. Some advice i would recommend for you is a signo tipped mx, balanced, builds style and practical. Not some buster than a new spinner is using. In addition to that. Your favorite trick is the charge. Why would you need a heavy pen to do the charge? Please explain.

Well, in the end its what he wants, but theres no point get a mod like a buster just to charge. If you want a pen for spinning, doing charge, fundamentals you might as well get a mod like an mx that is writeable. -

Well, he may not be a new spinner just because he is a new member. I didn't get my UPSB account until I was spinning for a few months, but your advice is reasonable, but it's his choice, but that doesn't even matter. So, a good heavy pen would be a Buster, any popular KT variation like the original Dr. KT, Bonkura KT, Dr. M&M (kind of a KT but not really), etc.

Really true, youre not new to everything, just get KTs or a buster, ivan, VGG, jeb g3s, whatever -

i feel that he is obligated to choose whatever mod he wants as soon as he realizes what style he wants to spin like best. power= heavy mod many spinners start out with heavy mods and they turn out to be really good spinners

@Demetrius Ktrihn93 is horrible...... btw the reason why ppl use heavy mods is becuz they just want to do powertricks rather than having their own way of spinning. So if u want to be a powertricker, so be it, BUT I wont guarantee that u would be a recognized spinner in the future(unless u broke the power trick cont record). You would only be recognized as a power spinner, but no more than tht.
