I'm not the water drinking kind so naturally I did it with beer. 00:00:25;12 - Not that fast, I took one pause and then another but it was pretty much foam after the second pause. I the 2nd pause doesn't count it took roughly 20 seconds.

500ml of vodka, which is usually around 40%... 10ml of alcohol is one unit, so you would be drinking 500 * 40% = 200ml = 20 units of alcohol That's A LOT of alcohol. I actually did some maths on this. Assuming around 6kg of blood in the body (roughly average for an adult male and bear in mind most people in this forum will have less than that). And assuming that 1 unit of alcohol raises blood alcohol level by roughly 15mg (this can be much more). You would reach a blood alcohol level of roughly 0.25%. Here are the effects at that level:0.25 BAC: All mental, physical and sensory functions are severely impaired. Increased risk of asphyxiation from choking on vomit and of seriously injuring yourself by falls or other accidents.
I seriously recommend not doing this with vodka. Taken from http://www.brad21.org/effects_at_specific_bac.html, where you can also see effects at other levels. -

Depends on his tolerance. My friend drank a whole, brand new, full bottle of absinthe at 70% in one go. Quicker than the guy in the vodka video above as well. No he didn't die. -

Not all that many people die from alcohol poisoning. Your body throws it up if you have too much, usually. -

Wow for that video Xienix. I drink over a gallon of water, but I don't compete or recommend this for ANYONE. Look what happened to someone when she was in a contest of drinking water in a short period of time :(. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16614865/ns/us_news-life/t/woman-dies-after-water-drinking-contest/ -

This wasn't because of the volume of water she drank, but because she didn't get rid of any of it. It's almost impossible to die from drinking too much water, if you actually go and pee when you need to. -

I don't know how long it will take but I am sure I will drink because I normally drink allot water than others drink.
