Nachoaddict wrote: i dun think f-3000s are rare. Isnt it 3000fs that are discontinued?
no , both of them are discontinued ,f3000 has been discontinued for 6 year [ at least] and 3000f more than ten years

12. Nachoaddict
Date: Tue, Aug 24 2010 04:11:25

Dude read the wiki >< it says f3000 can be found in china but 3000f has been discontinued for 8 years

13. sta812
Date: Tue, Aug 24 2010 06:08:59

my friend , i can certainly tell you that [my own experience] i can't find f3000 in china anymore [believe me or not ] or maybe you can try and find them in hong kong ,i know hong kong still hav some stocks p.s. sometimes , pens still for selling in some stationary shops doesn't mean that they are not discontinued , they are just remaining stock such as grip matic or fluro yellow signo dx

I'm pretty out of date. Seems like some people are saying m&m's are rare now? If so, how much would a pack run for now?

17. Jamal
Date: Tue, Aug 24 2010 19:24:25

TEK O_o Miffys can go for like $10-$15 each now... go look at that auction for the miffy pack and see how high the price is going

18. Nachoaddict
Date: Tue, Aug 24 2010 21:03:42

yeah packs are at least $100. The auctions usually go to $125 and $150 tho

19. RdHg

what are marvy markers used for, that make it so rare?

20. Jamal
Date: Sun, Aug 29 2010 23:14:42

RdHg wrote: what are marvy markers used for, that make it so rare?
@RdHg Thats the stupidest question ive ever heard O_o you dont use something to make it rare, something is out of production to make it rare.

21. RdHg
Date: Sun, Aug 29 2010 23:24:30

So your saying that some random ass pen, that has no use in pen spinning or modding, is rare just because its discontinued. yeah that makes so much sense. Yeah I'd so pay 15$-20$ for something I cant even use.

22. Jamal
Date: Sun, Aug 29 2010 23:27:28

what are marvy markers used for, that make it so rare? @RdHg Read over your sentence again buddy. the way you said it, made it seem that it became rare because people used them for something. instead you should have just said "what are marvy markers used for?" instead of saying that make it so rare

23. RdHg
Date: Sun, Aug 29 2010 23:34:29

No thats actually what I meant to ask. most thing that are rare, people want them to make a cool and unique mod. M&M's= M&M KT Pentel Watercolor = Seven watercolor

24. Jamal
Date: Sun, Aug 29 2010 23:40:19

you still dont understand what im trying to say @RdHg read your sentence : what are marvy markers used for, that make it so rare? The way you ask it makes it seem that BECAUSE PEOPLE USED THEM, THEY BECAME RARE. not asking why they are useful.

25. RdHg
Date: Sun, Aug 29 2010 23:47:12

okay then what is the use of marvy markers?

26. yurchik
Date: Sun, Aug 29 2010 23:51:06

body and caps..

27. RdHg
Date: Sun, Aug 29 2010 23:54:57

okay, but for what mods?

28. popotoo

marvy maker mod and skymask mod .-.

29. Nachoaddict
Date: Mon, Aug 30 2010 01:11:48

yeah thats pretty much it lol. @Wonder your firt post isnt exactly true. Jap dr grips are out of production but not necessarily rare yet. I heard you can still buy em in japan cuz so many were manufactured

30. Jamal
Date: Mon, Aug 30 2010 01:13:58

@Nachoaddict yeah i know they arent rare yet, penwish is still buying them lol i just said that they are discontinued as of now

32. pwnwner
Date: Mon, Sep 13 2010 02:15:23

whoa, 2 week old thread, anyway, any pen can be used for modding, just 'cause there's no tutorial for a mod using said pen, doesn't mean it will never be used for modding, nor does it mean it is useless

33. hoyeesuan
Date: Sat, Oct 2 2010 12:30:24

i hav full black dr grips

34. yurchik
Date: Sat, Oct 2 2010 12:33:07

it isnt rare, its just expensive

35. PSVortex
Date: Sat, Oct 9 2010 07:25:56

It depends on the country where you live.

36. aleshaabbot
Date: Sat, Oct 30 2010 13:10:40

It is rare to see a Waterman, or any manufacturer for that matter, producing a gold covered red hard rubber pen. Waterman made very few stanhope pens, wellI think that one model was made for the 35th anniversary of the company.

37. awtii64
Date: Fri, Feb 18 2011 00:48:59

are sarassas or whatever? k-mart sells them where i live and i think i see people freaking out over them, not sure tho...

38. Cloud
Date: Sat, Feb 19 2011 21:17:46

@awtii64 i have like 10 packs of sarasas... they arent rare and Location: BEHIND YOU! is very original jap dr grips arent really rare cuz ppl usually just use the grip and penwish sells the jap dr grip grip...

39. awtii64
Date: Sat, Feb 19 2011 21:45:15

@Cloud ok i didnt think so, and i kno the location is idiodic but whatever idc

40. Cloud
Date: Sat, Feb 19 2011 21:52:26

@awtii64 i mean i thought it was funny the first few times i saw but when everyone started doing... it kinda became annoying

41. awtii64
Date: Sat, Feb 19 2011 22:05:47

i kno i kno, but KTrinh's IS original, and i think its hilarious

42. Hex
Date: Sun, Feb 20 2011 01:29:44

is there a diff btw old sarassas and the ones you find at staples or something?

43. Apho
Date: Sun, Feb 20 2011 01:33:53

the stores often sell sarasas with more of a color selection, but you cant remove the grip. some sell the old ones too though.

44. Hex
Date: Sun, Feb 20 2011 01:35:02

what is the difference tho? the old ones: grips are removable? but the same grip?

45. Holypie
Date: Sun, Feb 20 2011 02:02:39

No no, I think the old sarasas are the ones found in stores, but now you can only get red/blue/black. The rare ones are the ones like those but with lots of colours. The "new" sarasas are the sarasa clip pens which don't have a removable grip but they have lots of colours. That's my theory anyway.

46. Hex
Date: Sun, Feb 20 2011 03:03:52

interesting... I will investigate. As of today, I am on a mission. Wish me luck.

47. Cloud
Date: Sun, Feb 20 2011 04:17:13

@Holypie @Hex sarasa clips grips ARE removable its a little more difficult though... kinda like g2 but ppl take the grip off all the time

48. Hex
Date: Sun, Feb 20 2011 04:35:01

Is it just the color then?

49. Holypie
Date: Sun, Feb 20 2011 14:04:45

I doubt it's the colour, Sarasa Clips have tons of colours, more than the original line. I think the original line's fancy colours got cut when the Clip came in.

50. hoyeesuan
Date: Sat, Feb 26 2011 03:08:44

@Cloud how do you remove them?

51. Cloud
Date: Sat, Feb 26 2011 07:29:49

@hoyeesuan it wasnt that good though. I put in boiling hot water then slid an x acto knife under and started working bit by bit took like an hour but i like the color
