i will be going to tokyo's narita or haneda airport for a transit flight to chitose, so i'd appreciate any insight on the selection available at these airports. thank you

There isnt much stuff near the airport. You at least need to move to the city area. But even so, many small bookshops have shitloads of stuff. If you are lucky, you might see a large shop called sekaido. Thats the goldmine.

you won't find anything at the airports been to both several times. you can go to the city if you are at haneda. narita is too far out.
