I used to play basketball for 4-5 hours a day and go and train with a coach 5 times a week. It was AWESOME. It's great in the gym, practicing shots, free throws, lay ups, dunks. Such a good game to play... Until about four years ago, when I wrecked my knee. :emo: And now I am strongly considering taking up chessboxing as my new sport. If I could go back... I not go to that game in which my knee got wrecked. Basketball is fantastic.

I don't know how many people play chess boxing. You could start a chess fight club.

I know there is a club in Islington, London. I could go there sometimes to play. I'm not to worried for a while, I'm just doing some solo boxing training and fitness training. I can't box until I've had an operation next year and then a couple months recovery, otherwise, I risk fatal injury. :o So no rush, gives me time to improve boxing and chess and just chill. And funnily enough, Fight Club is my favourite film ever. If I do start chessboxing and I'm living in a city, I may well start a chessboxing fight club, but not one with a project mayhem!
