Board Help / Frequent Status Updates?

So, how often am I allowed to change my status w/o getting busted? I VERY frequently update my status, so I fear getting banned or warned for spamming the Latest Status Updates box. If I've got to stop updating my status almost daily, then I'll cut down on it.

as long as the box is not filled completely with your statuses all the time its fine -

I've decided to actually update my signature alongside my status, I have the weirdest habits. -
