Linkages & Combos / double charge 34-23

Hey guys I recently started practicing this combo (yes yes I spin for years and i'm still a noob) and i'm wondering about the index finger. When you do this combo (those of you who can do it) do you keep the index finger down the entire time, or do you bring it up during the 34 charge? Are there pros/cons to those options?

double charge is more of a hybrid than a combo. but anyway, when i do 34-23 double charge i usually keep my index finger down the whole time, but its really preference. there arent really pros or cons to either way of doing it unless the next trick you do needs the index finger up or down.

Practice both, and practice it in the middle of linkages, that way you'll be able to do it no matter how you hold it or what trick youre coming from or going to.
