The tread about the PS trick: continous palmspin I need help with this move. The palm spin losses speed and i cant get more than 1 fl ta. :(

the trick isnt called continuous palmspin. its called palmspin > fl ta cont. but regardless i think i know your problem. when you do the first palmspin you probably just stick ur thumb in as the pen is spinning and let the momentum carry over to do the fl ta. this is wrong. as you do the fl ta you have to try to apply slightly more force to the pen to keep it going so that the next palmspin has enough momentum to spin and so that you have the momentum needed to do the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc, fl ta.

i get the same problem with the momentum. i think this is one of the hardest tricks to do continuously. also, is it completely necessary to move your hand out and away and then towards you and in? (if that makes sense)

just practice and see what works for you. i dont consciously try to move my hand toward/away from me, although i find keeping your hand straight and not crooked (watch vics tut) helps me a lot

technically know.. like spinnerpeem doesnt move his hand that much.. if you have a very powerful thumb im sure you could minimize the amount of hand motion you use.. but in general you do need that motion.

Alan is doing it at 02:41-02:43. Though not continuously...

I seem to have the timing down, but for some reason when I try to do it continuously, after maybe the 3rd time through, after I do the fl ta, I can do a palmspin but it's generally spinning near my pinky/ring fingers D=

sorry, i just interpreted ur comment with a different tone i guess. i can do a reverse palm spin but it only spins once......it's hard.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could help with this... how exactly does one get the pen into a FL TA? Do you push the pen with your thumb? I seem to be just moving my hand around in a circle-ish motion

step one: learn palmspin step two: learn FL TA step three: put them together if you dont know FL TA (correct me if im misunderstanding you) youre not going to be able to do palmspin > FL TA.

He means how do you link it. Have you already seen VicGotGame's tutorial? It's pretty good.
