this has been around in magic for quite awhile. the original trick used a playing card, and stuper thin kevlar thread was attached to the center of the card using a bit of clear wax. the other end was attached to the back of your ear. people have done it with coins and other things as well. this is just a toy version of the trick

That girl wearing the blue jacket is hot, just saying I'm just curious about the possibility. How varied the tricks can be, how big will it become, stuff along these lines. I might consider trying it out if this toy itself becomes more complex and if people are more eager to be more competitive about it. But as it is based from magic, I doubt it will be any more bigger. Especially after people find out how it actually works, you can't really surprise them anymore

@Enkronidus not very varied The thing is extremely limited, as you are just basiccaly swinging a spinning object around your body. Performance wise, there is much to be done to entertain crowds, but competitively, the really isn't that much skill involved. Just a little bit of practice and you can be one of those guys.
