In FPSB, I had the problem to breakwdown all the Joshin's combo due to those pass really hard with the current notation. Finally and thanks to Tache, we discovered that they are a variation of the flush sonic. How make them? All these variations are pretty easy to perform, but they need a new intermediate slot to be understood. For exemple, the original flush sonic 23-23 is now Flush Sonic 23-14-23. Now, the flush sonic made with the Thumb like Joshin This is a Flush Sonic 23-T3-12 with the new notation. The old notation (without the intermediate slot) is Sonic 23-13 > Fingerswitch 13-T3 > Pass T3-T1 > Charge T1 0.5 which is way more difficult for a simple trick like this. Joshin makes this variation of the Flush Sonic : It's a Flush Sonic 23-T3-T2 (1.0) with the new notation. The (1.0) is added when the Flush sonic is made with only 1 spin of charge (instead of 1.5 for a regular flush sonic). In addition, (1.0) induces that the reception slot is TX (X for 1,2,3,4). You can also make a (2.0) Flush sonic ( ex : Flush sonic 34-T4-T3-12 (2.0) , in the video below). A little video from Tache (thanks Tache ^^) sums up the new notation, and a video of Joshin now easy to breakdown with this notation. Once again, this "Joshin" Flush sonic is really easy to do. It's a new projet in FPSB, and the new notation can be improved, but currently it's the best notation we found.

this is actually a good point. but what if someone did flush sonic 34-t4-23. is that still a flushed sonic? because the intermediate slot is no longer 2 fingers apart.

that's same as the more conventional flush sonic 34-14-23, just replacing index with thumb in the 34-t4-23 one -

Imo a flushsonics are not flushsonics if they include the thumb. The only sonic that uses the thumb is the tipped one. So use tipped flush sonic notation.

Tipped flush sonic is wrong because a tipped sonic is when the mod doesn't make a round of charge. It's doesn't mean it's a sonic T2-T1 or something like that. With this notation, the flush sonic is extented to the other slot, and the fratleym flush sonic and key3 flush sonic are included as : frat flush sonic = flush sonic 23-14-23 key3 flush sonic = flush sonic 34-14-12 (1.0) imo this notation is really easier to understand all the variations of the flush sonic.
