Does anyone have suggestions for a decent gaming mouse under $45? I know it gets harder to get decent stuff as your price cap comes down but just wondering.

$45 is a tough budget, especially locally. I got my Logitech G500 or something for 80 bucks, Baaron got a Razer Death Adder for about the same. Both are great mice, mine is just wireless and wired and his is only wired.

Awesome. Was just about to post this, but I see you got my back nigga. Anyways, in general, the best GAYMAN mice are the MS IE 1.1a/3.0, WMO, G400, and Deathadder. All are capable of >=500 Hz so from there, it's really about how comfortable you find each one. The G500 is shit I've heard. If you get the G400, make sure the PID is above a certain number. Look it up, the earlier versions have a flawed sensor apparently. Also, most mice are made for palm grippers, if you happen to be retarded enough to claw grip, the G9x is the best choice.

Logitech G400. Comfy, 2 buttons to program, 3600 DPI, in game DPI switching, I got mine for $35 bucks on Amazon.

I had a Styx Gaming mouse for about 3 years. It's comfy, got a long cable which is coated with fabric to prevent it from getting stuck. Also the cable is pretty flexible so you can move around freely. The two mainbuttons held out pretty long despite the fact I used to ... smash my fingers on them pretty violently while playing... The mouse also has a button for DPI switching, one for a quickfire function(automatically generates multiple clicks if you click once) and also two buttons at the thumb for macros. You can change the functions of the buttons as well with the included program(on CD), put any macros from keystrikes to program starts and stuff. DPI can change between 800, 1600 and 2200, there's also lights on the side which show you the current DPI. So a pretty nice mouse. I'm also gonna get a new one later this month, because the cable on mine is broken and the left button didn't work sometimes, because I clicked too hard too many times... Cost me ~25 Euro here in Germany. (sun)

I had a G5 that lasted me probably 4 years. Best mouse ever and I wish they would remake it. After that had a Deathadder because everyone was creaming their shorts over it, didn't like it way to light and flimsy. I then learned that Logitech had the G500 which is like the G5 but less amazing. It's not as comfortable and I may be crazy but I don't think it performs as well, however I'm glad that it also has a weight kit.
