Mossan was GG. Malimo's linkages were nice but he seemed to drop for like 3 times, lol. And HAL.... dafuq.

Mossan had a lot of power. I agree with Far on how Malimo did. HAL spun so fast the pen was just spinning on his hand with occasional wrist movements, HAL was defidently the best.

Well there's only one of these held for all of Japan. Obviously some people live too far, can't make it, don't feel like going etc. -

I'm just honestly surprised since about 60% of the spinners GPC Live Tournaments have spun better than that. I guess live/consistant spinning is less of a thing over there?

HAL is dependent on his style, and like neoknux said, the angle just doesnt show the full effect of his spinning. this is ignoring his drop of course :P

i guess maybe JEB's live performances are just a few years behind THPSC and PSH's stuff :rofl: (lulz at people being impressed by mossan, you should rewatch peem's tv performances back in 2010) the winners of NPF2012 aren't much better than those from NPF2011 w/e, still epic to have so many pro spinners in one place spinning live

Hal simply did more stuff in his combo. His arounds were awesome, though he had alot of drop-save scenarios, he pulled it off smoothly enough, i guess. Overall HAL just had a better array of linkages. Mossan was equally impressive style wise and power trick wise, his PT's are beautiful. I was disappointed with MaliMo, he dropped 3 times. His linkages didn't compare to HALs, in my opinion. Mossan did drop once, but once is not 3 times. I feel it should've been HAL > Mossan > MaliMo, but that's just me.

It's just that they have different standards for what "good" spinning is. Style is the most important thing to Japanese spinners, supplanting difficulty, consistency, etc. -

iirc the pen had restrictions, such as length and it had to be able to write i haz no idea how hal made his KT writeable (although if the dr.grip tip is new, i guess u can just stick a lead in there...)
