I was and still am highly encouraged to take up robotics/engineering because of my 'talent' in speedcubing when my true interests lie in history ._. And none of the Asian crap too.

Robotics is the study of robots. Robots are machines that can be used to do jobs. Some robots can do work by themselves. Other robots must always have a person telling them what to do.

A lot of sci-fi futuristic movies have robots in them, but they're also mostly English speaking Caucasian, do you think this could be government propaganda to make us believe all robots are racists, thus fueling the Human vs Robot war of 2050 in which the public is inspired by Dr. Martin Luther Queen Jr to rise up for human rights against our oppressive robotic masters? Discuss.
