Anyone play this game? Really fun and addictive. Art is really creepy but you get used to it. http://store.steampowered.com/app/113200/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5PLC6nmOO4 $5 + $3 for exp. Can also pirate it easily. SP only. It's recommended not to download expansion before mastering base game as it really increases the difficulty curve.

just got it this afternoon, been playing a while, pretty fun wanted to play it ever since i read this line in yahtzee's review of it: "One touch I particularly like is that with each upgrade various permanent additions and mutations are added to your character sprite until you're just as monstrous as the things you fight. Very Nietzsche."

yes the game is quite power hungry for a flash game however the base game alone is much faster than the dlc. so try with the base game only first. you can also set graphics to low. i can run the game on my mba 2012 no problem, which is not exactly a powerhouse. so far i only completed the game twice, so i havent finished the complete game. you have to focus a lot on later levels or be really lucky with the drops -

I've bought it a while ago, it's a pretty fun game, and it's short enough to just jump in and play a game once in a while. Get the DLC. It makes it so much better.

just got to mom for the first time it is a tad bit annoying how dependent on random drops this game is, i've never gotten close to mom before, then this time i cruise right through the whole way because everything i got was stat increases

ahaha cool id watch a recording yeah game is pretty much random, but skill can take you really far. theres also strategy in how you're going to negotiate a certain floor to maximize your chance of getting good drops and using your bombs/keys effectively. and when you get the D6, it adds another decision.How bout putting it on the Arcade?
dude its not a free game, you need steam to play and its way too big to download for a single play. drm-free version also available if you buy cd-version -

meh just did a test recording and the quality isn't good enough. Shame, it was a really fun/interesting playthrough -

I started typing it out after like 16th item cuz I'm super OP by then already... And I was updating alva about my game, while playing... So I just went back to chat log to re-type the items I've gained after 20th. And then... I spent the whole night trying to reach heart again... Never made it... Frog~

the expansion has still some bugs, but base game is ok apparently the next patch is going to be the final one, meaning there wont be any new content added. the game is basically finished. @strat1227 why you keep playing maggie lol p pauses and resumes the game, don't use esc it quits the game -

Nail is good for health too but a lot of times you need to make a deal with devil to get it :/ But you get the curse for a room when you use it so that's an added bonus

@Froggy Magdalene is more likely to get health upgrades right? Every time I play Isaac I get damage upgrades, Magdalene gives me health upgrades. Like last 10 games I've played have been like that I can't survive as isaac lol

nope its not just sign up to livestream then get this http://new.livestream.com/broadcast-live/encoder its a really good program for recording, even if you're not interested in streaming (altho it will still stream i think) -

@strat1227 you unlocked harbingers of death, the bosses that ride horses. those guys ALWAYS give you a cube of meat when you defeat them. if you hold a book of revelation, the chance to fight harbingers increases. i sometimes get soul hearts out of larry jr poops but its very rare. roflllllllllll googling while in-game

@Zombo There's a 3rd part to satan, after you beat the body you died on he disappears and starts stomping / spawning exploding eye things If you put a bomb in the middle of the room about 3 seconds after you enter, it should explode as the first form spawns, taking out the 2 eye things and like half its health

I can't seem to for whatever reason to get past The Depths II (my aggregate time played is about 13 hours), I'm considering getting Wrath of The Lambs as there are new items which offers some refreshment to the game for me as I am getting quite bored and annoyed after going through a 15-35 minute run and having to start over again. Having said that, it also means harder bosses such as the Headless Horseman will be in the game, so do you guys think that I'm ready for Wrath of The Lambs or should I just get some more practise in me? yeah it's a different .exe file so you would just launch the regular isaac.exe instead of the WotL exe and it'd be the normal game w/o wotl no idea why you can't get past that level after 13 hours lol. record a playthrough and post it here, maybe you just have dumb playstyle or something -

Sweet, that's good to know. I'll be getting Wrath of The Lambs then. I'm not much of a gamer, and I've never really been that good at games, which would explain why I can't get past The Depths II. But I'm sure that with more time and practise I shall be able to. To record a playthrough would be out of the question. I understand that it would be useful for you to see my playstyle and give me tips to get better but I don't have a recording software, and I've tried to upload videos to Youtube before, it literally takes hours. -
