I am planning on buying fake Beats by Dre earbuds from some Chinese website: http://www.aliheadphones.com/ Can I have some advise? Should I buy from them? Is the quality of the headphones still going to be the same? Help please... And no, I'm not planning on legit ones because one, they are too expensive and two, I already have some good quality headphones and I want the earbuds by Dre nawwwww....

Yeah, right. Even though most fakes from china are bad imitations (like 5€ headphones), those are likely to be unlicensed productions of the original item. Many brand-headphones are made in china. When the company orders 10k items, the factory sometimes decides to produce 15k and sell 5k to other retailers. Same happened to the Nintendo DS, which was available in china for a much better price than anywhere else in the world. It's an exact copy, not different from the original. Regarding the headphones - no comment (In an unrelated matter - Frip is a pretty cool guy!)

Jan, these headphones will overpower your Beats with ease. Are you sure you really need a pair of shitty in-ears?

    could be a convenience/portability reason

But think about it, getting fake and shitty in-ears you won't be really happy with vs. getting cheap and somehow decent in-ears (like the UE 200 für 20 bucks) that don't have seal issues. It's really a no-brainer.

I want earbuds so they are convinient and portable. My question is whenever getting fake ones will ruin the quality of the legit real ones for $100

Don't worry, the beats and their fakes are incredibly bad. Otherwise I (and not only me, just look at the other responses) wouldn't recommend you getting something else instead.

This wouldn't be considered a forum without a fake Beats by dr dre thread.

If you're looking for earbuds, I highly highly recommend MeElectronics' M6s. They're very cost efficient, many buds you can exchange, very comfy, and they've lasted me two years with absolutely no complaints.

I have these: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDREX310LP-In-Ear-Headphones/dp/B004RE5ZCI/ref=sr_1_35?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1337820175&sr=1-35 They come with like 8 sets of earbuds (extra Small, Small, medium, large, either silicone or silicone + noise isolation) and a nice solid feeling case. The sound quality are very good, probably best sounding headphones that I ever owned in this price range. dey r gud mang

Since we've drifted away from giving him advice on fake dr. dre earbuds to just suggestions, I recommend the Sennhieser cx200 better than anything in its ~$20 price range, for real, in terms of sound quality and comfort, purchased 4 pairs, which unfortunately all got ate by my cat, the 2012 model is as good as the 2010 but still better than any of the cheap earbuds I've ever purchased (cheap as in sub $30)

Dude, don't get fake in-ear beats. Quality is shit. I agree with @shoeman6 . Either that or CX-300.
