I don't know about you guys, but I have a couple of game engines that I like seeing games made with. Mostly new gen engines though. I like the RAGE engine Havok physics engine Euphoria engine Gamebryo and last but not least the IW engine. Didn't know if you guys liked any?

I like S4 Leagues engine. It's still got some bugs, but it's very fast and holds a lot of possibilities for the player.

I enjoy Frostbite engine, and Havok engine. But I truly don't care as long as the games good.

This. I thought Half Life: Source would look amazing. I was a very disappointed 10 year old.

You're overlooking all the other games made in the source engine, but half life is amazing.

Gamebryo - The one bethesda uses for newer fallout and elder scrolls games

Well if we're talking graphics then yes, seeing CSS and HL2 for the first time blew my mind and it still does to this day. I didn't think graphics could get much more realistic than that. As far as functionality goes, the hitboxes in CSS are absolutely terrible. I cited HL: S specifically because it highlights the differences the Source engine makes because you can compare it to the original half life, CSS and HL2 just had super high res textures in comparison, nothing from the source engine necessarily.
