No, the inner side of your hand (palm) is always facing you while you do the trick. But it has to face the floor/table/whatever to be palm down. If you don't name it palm down, it doesn't matter. But you do. That's why I say it. VGG's around is always palm down as you can see in his videos, except in his WOC-combo. But he doesn't name it as palm down, because he doesn't care. If you name something palm down it has to be palm down. But in this case it isn't.
