Why is there a limit to how many messages you can hold in your inbox, but you can hold unlimited messages on your profile?

I guess it just makes the board run slower as it has to hold more information...?

Flood control? If everybody had an unlimited inbox, nobody would ever delete messages. I know I wouldn't. Well I don't because I have premium. The board probably wouldn't run as well and you would have more people complaining about that.

@Fuse premium has a limit. There is really no such thing as unlimited anything online. The limit is just so far out that most people will never reach it.

Well, I dunno, I'd prefer to have a profile message limit rather than a inbox message limit.

If you haven't noticed, you can't delete visitor messages completely. If there was a limit, it would be reached too easily and quickly and you wouldn't be able to receive anymore visitor messages. Especially for a birthday when a lot of people are posting happy birthday on your profile. -

Comments on your profile are not private. People can read them, and they cannot be deleted.

They can't be deleted completely. If you do try to delete on it leaves a message saying that the comment has been deleted. -

That still doesn't change my point, I would still rather have an unlimited PM limit than a visitor limit.
