@Zombo i read from mafiascum wiki that a no-lynch = lyncher wins auto. that would make the game SRSLY short the game shouldnt even end up having a no-lynch due to no night roles. and i cant just make the game length as "day ends when someone gets lynched" cuz what if game decides to go inactive.. then the game never ends ---- im not exactly sure if its a fair set-up, but i'll see.. or maybe gimme some suggestions? :P Frog~

what i mean is why write "If there's no lynch at the end of the day, Lyncher gets a free lynch." when you can just write "lyncher auto-wins if there's no lynch"

so that the game doesnt end that quickly.. whether lyncher gets free lynch, or lyncher auto-wins.. it still promotes people to persue lynch rather than no-lynch -- @strat1227 lyncher wont know whos lynchee, he doesnt have the power to "cop" on townies too. same goes for lynchee. so its a pure discussion battle, no special powers. those are equivalent statements, because obviously lyncher will use free lynch to lynch the target and win. why write the rule in a complicated way when you can just say lyncher auto-wins? that's like saying "I need x+y-z players for this game, where x = y+z, y = 2.5 and z = 5" when you can just say "I need 5 players for this game" why write rules in more complicated way than necessary -

i actually got the setup here: http://mikeburnfire.sitesled.com/mscumB.swf Setup and variations -> 3rd one on top from left to right. it didnt specify if the lyncher needs to know who is the lynchee... so i always assumed it wont be known until its done? i will change it if u guys think lyncher should know whos lynchee ;) but im just not sure :P Frog~

In some themed games, Lynchers are not told who explicitly they must kill, but rather the flavor names of their Lynchees. While this is frowned upon - the Lyncher can't know which players have those flavor names, and is thus directionless - it is sometimes necessary to preserve the integrity of the game (i.e. if one of the Lynchees is scum).
